Renjun woke up knowing that today was the day. He had been waiting for this probably his whole life. Even though he knew that the letter most certainly was already laying on the small table in the lobby he didn't hurry. The letter wasn't going anywhere and it was good for him to test his patience, for some reason he had a feeling that he would be needing that a lot in the future.
He made his bed and got dressed into black ripped jeans and a grey sweater. He stepped out of his room and was met with the sight of Chenle running for his life down the stairs of their mansion.
Renjun and Chenle are cousins, they have lived in the same house since they were born for the reason of their mothers being very close. Having grown up together made them very close, even though they were only cousins they really saw each other as brothers.
Renjun followed his younger cousin down the stairs in a more collected pace and greeted the maids he met with a warm smile. Renjun was known in the house as "the sweet young prince" and the maids always smiled really wide when they met him.
Both Renjun and Chenle are princes, being born into the royal family. Neither of them were next to the throne, the crown prince being Renjuns older brother Sicheng. Sicheng is going to begin his third year in Hogwarts and is eagerly waiting for his younger cousins to begin their first.
"Chenle be careful while going down the stairs, we don't want our little prince hurting himself."
Renjun arrived at the bottom of the stairs and heard his mother sweetly scold his cousin. The queen is a very sweet person, supporting her two sons and their little cousin unconditionally. The princes could talk to her about anything and everything, her sweet nature giving them a lot of comfort.
Renjun walked to where his mother and Chenle were excitedly opening Chenle's Hogwarts letter.
"Good morning mother." Renjun greeted and then whispered to Chenle so that the queen wouldn't hear. "It's a wonder you even got the letter with your stupid brain."
The cousins would usually playfully fight around, though not in the presence of Renjun's father. The king being a bit uptight of the rules to being a royal.
"Mom! Did you hear what Renjun just whispered to me!"
Chenle being the snitch he is voiced out, calling the queen with the name he's called her since birth.
Renjun only innocently made eye contact with his mother.
"I don't know what he is talking about."
"Yes you d-" Chenle yelped when Renjun pinched his side.
"Nope I truly do not."
Renjun smiled sweetly and led Chenle towards the dining room, not forgetting to pick up his letter on the way.

Jeno slowly made his way to the front door to pick up the mail. It was an ordinary day and Jeno soon had to begin making himself ready for summer school, having to go there to better his grades. Jeno hated school, nothing really making any sense to him. What is the point of algebra or having to know the periodic table, when would he have to know this in the future.
When he was about to put the mail down on the dinner table for his mom to check through, a letter caught his attention. The paper of the letter looked old and it was sealed with wax, who the heck uses wax these days? Jeno picked the letter up and turned it around and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was for him. For some reason opening letters was an enjoyment for the brunette boy so he got a letter opener and carefully ripped the top open to keep the envelope and wax in as good condition as possible.
