Chapter 21. The End

Jeno and Renjun rushed towards the dungeons, they had to get to Jaemin. The three hadn't been able to go to the same dorm as Jaemin still had to keep the act up. If they had known that the attack was going to happen now they wouldn't have split up. As they got to the staircase they had to start elbowing their way through the crowds of people, everyone had woken up because of the fireworks and the news of an attack had spread causing chaos.

"Jeno! Jeno!"

Jeno looked behind him and caught sight of Felix pushing his way through the people.

"Where are we going to meet!"
Jeno racked his brain with places that could be safe and big enough for them to gather and prepare.

"Get everyone to the come and go room, I'll get there as quickly as I can!"

Felix nodded and turned around and spread the news to his friend group who started gathering everyone from Taeyong's ARMY and other students willing to come with them as well.

"Come on Jeno we gotta get Jaems!"
Jeno almost couldn't hear Renjun over the crowd but followed after him towards Jaemin's dorm.

"Jaemin! Jaemin!"

Renjun's frantic yells echoed in the hallways of the lowest points of the school, he was terrified and desperately wanted to see if Jaemin was okay.

"I'm here! I'm here, it's alright pup."

Jaemin suddenly appeared from behind a corner, Jisung and Chenle following. He quickly embraced Renjun and calmed him down slightly before noticing Jeno restlessly pacing next to them.

"We need to go, the rest should be in the come and go room."

Jaemin nodded and followed Jeno, the younger couple following the throuple close behind.

Explosions and spells being yelled could be heard in the darkness outside. It was in the middle of the night, there was no other light than the flashing of different spells being cast. The big gates were torn down and there was now a gaping hole in the wall, the stones and remains of the arches in the inner yard littered on the ground. The five ran as fast as they could straight past the door opening and rushed up the stairs. There were already a few dead students laying on them. The boys kept themselves from looking at them and continued upwards. Once in a while they heard a few screams echo in the hallways and hoped that the students at least got a fast death.

"It's not far, come on!"

Jaemin dragged Renjun closer to him and they continued to run hand in hand with the other's beside them. Suddenly a crash could be heard as pieces of the wall crashed down right in front of them. They all looked back and were met with Mr. Hak. Jaemin felt Renjun tremble beside him and his anger started rising.

"Oh I see you've joined their side."

Jaemin scoffed at the man, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"I was always on their side."

He noticed how the others had stepped around Renjun to conceal him from the Death Eater. Chul-Moo laughed at their feeble attempts at hiding Renjun.

"You really think I wouldn't notice that omega. Do you remember his screams echoing around the mansion when I took his innocence?" He laughed again when he noticed their stiffness. "You're all pathetic!"

Jaemin was surprised when Renjun pushed past him and lifted his wand at the man before them.

"You're the pathetic one. Laughing at a group of scarred teenagers in the middle of a war, you're sick."
