"They set us up in a LUXURY suite?!" Kristen said as she spun around to admire the room, like in one of those cheesy rags to riches movies.
"It was all they had to offer." I said, mainly to make myself feel less guilty.
I'd pulled Jeff aside and asked for a luxury suite. I mean, if I was going to go along with all this and not get paid for it, then at least set me up in a nice room and give me enough money to get Kristen and myself an outfit for tonight... Right?
It seemed like the right thing to do. But now I'm feeling guilty even though as soon as I mentioned it Jeff said "absolutely, no problems" straight away.
What a lovely man.
"Oh my GOD these pillows! Mac, I wanna live like this!" Look out Steve-O, this girl thinks big.
We still hadn't spoken about what happened earlier in Jeff's office but I guess if Kristen's not pissed anymore then why bring it up? I'm too exhausted anyway, and she should've been the one to apologise. But she won't so whatever.
"One night, Kris!" I called out to her.
I was gonna pretend I didn't find the room to be that amazing, but it was definitely pretty cool.
I took my shoes off and padded down the hallway to find Kristen, who was already in bed staring at the TV.
As I turned to see what she was watching, my eyes widened at what was behind it.
"How the fuck can you be watching TV right now, when the Sydney Opera House is right there?" I said, pointing out the window.
"What? Oh, yeah. The views pretty amazing." Kris said, staring calmly out the window.

I opened the door out to the patio and stood in the doorway as the cool air brushed over me

I opened the door out to the patio and stood in the doorway as the cool air brushed over me.
"Imagine fucking in here."
My eyes widened and I snapped my head around to look at Kristen and she shrugged, "Don't tell me you weren't thinking the same thing."
"I really wasn't." I said, clearing my throat.
But now that she mentions it... being fucked against that window wouldn't be too bad.
Enough of those thoughts for now, though, I'm here for business and business only.
Sort of.
"We need to get our stuff for tonight, Kris." I reminded her.
Kristen groaned and pulled herself out of the bed, shoving her sandals on and marching out the bedroom door.
"You know Steve-O's gonna be there, right?" I said, walking after her.
"Right, so now I have to put in more effort to look sexy. Exhausting, but I'll do it," Kristen said, opening the door for me and waving me out, "Where to first?"
"That's the spirit," I grinned, pressing the button for the elevator, "First stop, Piccadilly."
———————————————————————————
"What time is it?"
I flipped my phone open and pushed my hair out of my face so I could read the numbers in front of me, "it's like 8:15."
"We were supposed to be there at 8:00." Kristen said, lifting her purse onto her shoulder.
"And? We'll be fashionably late." I grinned, strapping on my high heels.
Shopping took all afternoon and that was mostly because of Kristen.
I settled on a silver-sequin cocktail mini dress with a sweetheart neckline, whereas Kristen had settled for Keira Knightley's dress from the golden globes this year.
I'm not joking. And that thing was not cheap.
"Alright move it, sexy." Kristen snapped, pushing me out the door.
We made our way down to the lobby and with pleasant surprise we were greeted by our dates, Bam and Steve-O, for the night.
Now I feel bad about making them wait for us.
Bam looked really good. Like, I'm not just saying that because I have to, he looked really fucking good.
Those fingerless gloves just fuck me up.
"Hello, beautiful," Bam grinned grabbing my hand and planting a kiss on it, before bringing my arm around his waist, "You look great."
"Thanks," I smiled, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, "Was just thinking the same thing about you."
We walked out onto the street and ran into only three paps who snapped our photo eagerly. I held my head up so they could see who I was, making sure I was doing my part of the deal.
"Your ride, my lady." Bam opened the door of the limo in front of us and my eyes widened.
"You got a limo?" I whisper screamed and he shook his head grinning.
"Of course we got a fucken limo," He laughed, gesturing for me to get in, "Let's go, baby."
Kristen and I exchanged glances before literally launching ourselves into the seats and making for the free champagne.
Bam and 'O scooched in beside us and we hit the road.
Bam wrapped his arm around my shoulders and I just let it happen. It's not like I was uncomfortable or anything, but I was only going to put it on for the cameras. Bam seems to be taking his role seriously.
"Look, I gotta ask; did Jeff actually ask you to do this, or did he tell you that you had to do it?" I looked to Bam and he shrugged.
"Jeff asked me AFTER he made the deal with you which bugged me a bit, but I couldn't say no because it's you, Mac. You're a babe." He smiled and I blushed, nudging him a little.
I rested my head on his shoulder for the rest of the limo ride, entertained by Kristen and Steve-O resisting the urge to get down and dirty right then and there. They didn't refrain from nearly eating each other's faces off, though.
We arrived at our destination 15 minutes later, which appeared to be a private venue with blacked out windows. There were body guards at the doors, pushing back a group of seven or eight fan girls all trying to get in. They turned to look at us as we pulled up.
Our driver opened the door for us and we were bombarded by the girls and a couple of paps who had lingered around.
"Bam! Oh my god, that's Bam!" A girl screamed, shaking her best friend by the arm.
The guards had approached the girls and pushed them out of the way so we could get through.
We climbed out of the limo, and I reached for Bam's hand so we could walk in together.
"Who is that?" I heard one of the girls say.
"Some slut." I heard another say, loud enough so that I could hear them.
Bam squeezed my hand and we continued walking toward the building. This shit was not all it was cracked up to be, and it's only the start of the night.
"Bitch!"
I grimaced. It was taking everything in me not to turn around and say something back. The paps were right there, though, and I didn't want to make a scene.
The cameras flashed and we headed inside.
——————————————————————————
"Ryan, you have spinach stuck in your teeth."
Ryan stared at me blankly from across the table and shook his head.
"I didn't eat any spinach," He said, licking his teeth and looking at Bam, "Is there something in my teeth?"
Bam looked into his mouth and grabbed a fork from the table, "hold still."
"Don't fucking play with me, Bam." Ryan pointed at him threateningly.
"Well I'm not fishing it out with my fingers, mother fucker," Bam snapped, "Now open up."
This was probably the most entertaining thing that had happened all night.
When we'd arrived we were seated at a table, and separated from Kristen and Steve-O. They ended up on a table with Pontius, Weeman and Preston, and Bam and I ended up on a table with Ryan, Dave and Ehren.
"Ah, fuck! That was my gum, fuck face." Ryan hit Bam on the arm and held his mouth.
"Sorry, darling. I almost had it." Bam tried not to laugh.
"Ehren," I called over to him, "How long does this go for?"
"Everyone starts leaving at like 12, but we'll probably hang around and party a bit more. Johnny knows a bar around the corner we can go to." Ehren said, finishing off the last piece of broccoli on his plate.
"You don't have to stick around, though. I'm heading back pretty early." Dave shrugged.
Sticking around didn't sound so fun, but I had a duty to fulfil for tonight so I guess I don't really have a choice.
"I'm gonna go get another drink." I smiled.
I excused myself and made my way over to the drinks table.
I saw Kristen standing talking to someone. She was throwing her head back and laughing with them. Steve-O really has this girl smitten if he can make her laugh like that.
"Hey, Kristen!" I called to her.
As Kristen turned to look at me, I looked over her shoulder and realised that the person she was talking to, was actually Johnny.
Oh, fuck.
I immediately turned and walked the other way, acting as if I hadn't said anything at all, and started shakily pouring myself a cup of punch.
I hadn't seen Johnny all night, which was weird because it was hard not to notice him. He was literally wearing a bright pink jacket.

"Mac!" Kristen called.
I didn't look up from my drink but I could hear her walking towards me.
"What are you, deaf or something? I just called out to you from literally 3 metres away." She laughed.
Oh my god I can't fucking look at her. He's literally right there, why is it so hard to face him all of a sudden?
"Oh, haha. Sorry, I couldn't hear you over the punch."
What? Over the fucking punch? C'mon, Mac, pull yourself together.
"I think you're drunk," Kristen said, tilting my chin so I'd look at her, "There you are! Look who I ran intoooooooo."
Kristen gestured over to Johnny and I smiled weakly.
"She likes me now." Johnny shrugged, talking about Kristen.
"I didn't not like you, Knox. Your behaviour needs a bit of work though." Kristen said. I pointed a finger up in her face.
"Uh, uh, uh. No cheek, Kris." I reminded her and she smiled.
"Whatever, I'm gonna go get 'O. Be right back." Kris gave me a quick peck on the cheek and zoomed off to find her lover, leaving me in probably the worst spot possible. I can't see any cameras around though.
"How is everything?" I asked Johnny, and he raised his eyebrows under his aviators.
"Could be better, obviously. I think everything was blown way out of proportion so I do apologise for the way it's affected you. Especially since now you have to put up with Bam all night." He said, taking a sip from his corona.
"I mean, Bam's not too bad," I took a look over to the man in question, who was currently spit balling Ehren with a straw, "He's cute."
"Bam? Cute?" Johnny laughed, flashing that beautiful grin of his.
"Yeah, I think he's interesting." I nodded.
Hey, I'm gonna be honest, I wanted a reaction from him. I wanted to see if he gave a shit or not.
"He's interesting, until he gives you fleas." Johnny smiled.
"I mean, I'd still want him." I grinned, polishing off my drink.
"Didn't you just pour that...?" Johnny's eyes widened.
"Yes. Now we're doing shots." I said, reaching for the vodka.
Johnny grabbed my hand to stop me, and immediately dropped it, shoving his hand back in his pocket.
"Mac, you know that would be great and all but I think people are watching," He whispered, "I also think you've had enough to drink."
I paused, looking over my shoulder to see a couple of guests sneaking looks at us and whispering to each other.
I was gonna say fuck it, but maybe not. This shit blows.
Johnny leaned close to me, I could feel his warm breath against the side of my face.
"There's a bar at the back of the club with a staff only sign on it. Meet me in there as soon as everyone gets up and moves towards the standing part of the floor. We'll do as many shots as you want, just bring Bam." Johnny murmured as he took my drink out of my hand and placed it back on the table.
"Sure," I smiled tightly, snatching the drink back, "See you then."
I moved back over to my table and sat down next to Bam. He slung his arm around me immediately, and I shuffled in close to him, resting my head on his shoulder.
"What was Knoxville saying?" Bam asked, only for me to hear.
"I'll tell you in about 10 minutes." I said quietly.
"10 minutes?" He laughed.
"Maybe earlier I don't know. Just wait out, okay?" I looked up at him, and he sighed.
"Fine." He smiled gently.
I looked out into the crowd to see where Johnny was, and he was taking a seat next to Jeff at his table. His eyes were glued on me, and he looked sort of bitter. As Jeff spoke to him, his eyes didn't avert from me, and Jeff noticed. I looked away so I didn't feed into it. There ARE photographers around. People CAN see me.
"Ryan, you and Bam should get the DJ up. I'm gonna go find Kris." I said and Ryan nodded.
"Sounds like a plan."
