I think there should be a name for kawaii meets hard sci-fi.
It's fun, educational...One of my favorite video games ever falls under this category—it's called Oxygen Not Included. For now, let's call it kawaii sci-fi, and this is my second book in that genre. Well, the second book I've ever written really (other than short stories). Let's move onto the elevator pitch.

This story is based on two of my illustrations that you can find in my Art Book. It won't be just The Little Mermaid with sci-fi—that would be kind of lazy. This is my own story with some fun twists, sci-fi action and deep themes to steer it in a whole other direction. It might bring to mind the Netflix movie, Okja.
