Bristlekit drew in a long deep breath, it was her very first breath. The first thing her mother and the medicinecat noticed was, while her brothers squirmed and meowed, Bristlekit was quiet and still. Even before she was born, she had dreams, lots of dreams she couldn't explain or even talk about yet. Bristlekit's mother thought her kitten acted very strange, but the medicinecat knew that Bristlekit was a very special kitten. For what was to happen to her and her clan though he did not know.
