Bucky utilizes his driving skills and speeds off towards Faye's home swerving in and out of traffic at a high speed, before you even turn the corner to her street you could see the plume of smoke filling the sky.

"No, no, no," you whisper under your breath.

Bucky screeches the car to a halt both of you bolt out of the car not even bothering to shut the doors. One powerful kick from Bucky and the door was off its hinges, a cloud of smoke barrels out of the hallway, you both cover your faces before heading inside.
You follow him through to the living room where you see Faye sitting on the floor propped up against the furthest wall from the fire. You kneel down next to her, "can you move?" You ask her as Bucky searches Rosie's room, he comes back frantic, "where is she?!"

"Here," she says weakly.

Faye waves her hand and an invisible Rosie came into view next to her, "she *cough* wouldn't leave me. *cough*" 

"Let's get you outside," Bucky tells Rosie as he goes to pick her up.

Rosie looked at her mum and kissed her cheek, "I love you momma, say hi to daddy for me."

A tear leaves Faye's eyes creating a path down her smokey face, "I will baby, remember *cough* momma loves you."

Rosie lifts her arms up to Bucky who picks her up and covers her mouth and nose with her T-shirt.

"Get her out, I'll bring Faye," you tell Bucky.

He knew you could handle getting Faye out on your own so without being told twice he leaves.

"Can you move your legs," you ask looking down at her blood soaked abdomen.

"It's too late for me," she whispers.

"Your not leaving that little girl," you go to pick her up from the ground, but she waves her hand and becomes impossible to pick up.

"This is the way it has to be, *cough* here," she pulls a vile of blood from her pocket, "it will show you everything you need to know," she coughs frantically, "keep her safe."

You take the vile from her hand, "we will," you tell her. Faye smiles and her body becomes limp, her hands hang loosely at her side. Your heart breaks as you leave her in the burning room, you place your t-shirt back over your mouth and run outside, the vile safely in your grasp.

Bucky was just putting Rosie in the car when you ran out, he meets you on the side walk, a few feet away from the car as he notices your on your own.

"Where's Faye?"

"She uhm, she didn't want me to save her," you say trailing off looking back at the house.

You hear the sirens of the fire brigade and police off in the distance making their way to you, "did you call it in to Ross?" you ask Bucky.

"No, I thought I'd leave witches off his radar," he tells you.

You nod your head in agreement, "good," you look over Bucky's shoulder to the little girl in the back of your car, "how do we tell her?"

He turns to look at her, "i think she already knows."

After the fire brigade and police had extinguished the fire and the police had the situation handled you and Bucky head to your safe house, being extra cautious as he drove. Once there you open the door for Rosie to get out of the car, she unbuckles her belt and jumps down off her seat, following Bucky up to the house, you close the front door behind you and let out a heavy sigh and rub your face as you follow them to the living room.

"Do you want to watch some cartoons?" you ask her as you switch on the TV and find some for her.

"Yeah!" she exclaims as she runs and jumps onto the couch.

"Let's talk," you say to Bucky as you slyly side eye the kitchen.

"Have you noticed Rosie was unaffected by the fire? No coughing or anything?" you observe.

"Yeah," Bucky replies, "but that could of been down to Faye?" he theorizes.

"Maybe," you reply.

"Faye gave me this before she died," you say in hushed tones holding out the vile of blood, "she said it would explain everything," you tell him.

He looks at it closely, "but you never mentioned your power to her," he says quizzically.

"I know, i don't know how she..," you respond.

"I told mommy," Rosie says from the sofa.

This is lead to more confusion, "how do you know what (y/n) can do Rosie?" Bucky asks gently walking back into the living room to her.

She shrugs her shoulders, "i dunno, i just know," she smiles, "i know everyone's powers," she says with glee, "and you both have sharp teeth."

You and Bucky couldn't help but smile at her own confidence.

"Listen, Rosie, your mom, she," you begin as you squat down to her level.

"I know," she replies looking into your eyes, "i know my momma isn't here anymore," your throat catches at her words, "but its okay shes gone to be with daddy now," she explains.

"Okay sweetie," you say as you smile, trying to hold back tears.

Rosie turn back around and continues to watch cartoons.

You stand back up and talk in a hushed tone "I'm going to head upstairs, see what Faye had to tell us."

"Okay," he says stepping towards you and kissing the top of your head, "if you need me I'll be right here."

You nod and head up the stairs hearing Bucky in the distance as Rosie, "you hungry?"

You sit in the center of your made bed looking at the red liquid, contemplating, overthinking what you might witness.

You fill your lungs with air, almost holding it as you bring forth your vampiric side and down the blood in one. As you let out the breath you were holding your vision blurs for a moment before coming into focus to see Faye. She was stood in front of her bathroom mirror so it looked like she was talking to you directly.

"Where to start?"
