the next day at woodsboro high was nothing less of an odd day at school. despite the early morning eight AM lecture you managed to swing your legs over the edge of your bed, slamming a hand over the beeping alarm clock a groaned left your lips in annoyance. a blanket covered your head, saving your eyes from the early morning sunlight seeping in through the outside of the glass window. you poked your head from out under the blanket.

"huh." your voice was stumped. you were confused left questioning reality. " i though i closed the shades last night." talking to yourself and shaking your head, you began to get ready for school. it was only six in the morning and you knew you could manage the early morning traffic rush potentially even walking to campus if the traffic outside was too stressful or as stu would like to say- "messy".

the morning consisted of picking out an outfit for the day, packing your bag with the folders that were strewn across your desk and lastly making a quick breakfast and packing a snack for yourself to munch on during the school hours.

by the time you were all complete it must've been around seven thirty which was early enough time to get to school with a few minutes to spare and find tatum or sydney to talk to about...

about last night.

your mind began to wonder back to last night and how terrified you were. in all honesty, it was a miracle you even managed to get a full nights rest in! the curtain to your bedroom window was open which was worrisome but it could've just been an awful nightmare and that's what your mind decided it was. despite the heavy paranoia you told yourself not to worry for the rest of the day especially while you were in class. that would've been the worst distraction imaginable.

locking the door behind you, the cool autumn air nipped softly at your skin, the weather wasn't as cold antartica but nonetheless it caught you off guard for california's october air. despite that, it was refreshing. you hugged your arms over your chest under your sweater with your boots ever so slightly making a soft clicking noise on the top of the grey pavement below you.

" hey (y/n!)" you heard your named get called out not too far behind, whipping around to see billy leaning out of his car with stu next to him in the passenger seat and both of their girlfriends in the back with the window down.

"it's so cold, what are you doing walking out here!" tatum yelled from behind sydney who agreed with the blonde.

"we have room back here, get in!" sydney chimed in as the car rolled slowly closer to the curb so that it was driving the same speed as you walking on the sidewalk. the back door to the car was opened from inside as the girls started to move closer to each other allowing your room to move into the back of the car.

"jesus, thanks for getting me this morning, billy. how'd you even manage to spot me?" you chirped happily, a smile appearing on billy's lips as he glanced at you in the backseat while looking into his rearview mirror.

he knew he couldn't call you a pretty girl in front of his girlfriend and neither could stu.
