hi friends, 

first off, you are so amazing. this book has been around for more than a year and the amount of engagements i've received on this book and my account are mind-blowing. i appreciate it beyond words. every time i log onto this account there are 99+ notifications present and it is so,  so heartwarming.

i have seen and responded to as many comments as i can especially those pleading with me to come back with another chapter. it's bittersweet. my motivation to write has diminished into thin air. i remember i would write while at work when no one was present in the café i worked in and hitting the "publish" button gave me a rush of adrenaline and serotonin. 

i appreciate you all staying on this account for so long and interacting (yes- i have read the arguments you've had and all the simping in the first chapter). i've been on a hiatus for a few months now and i would like to give you and update instead of ghosting you all again indefinitely again for an extended amount of time, once more. 

so with this, i will be unfortunately discontinuing this book. unless the motivation or love for scream film strikes me again expect little to no updates. perhaps that spark may arise again. 

i won't be taking this story down so you can re-read it over and over again as much as you want, so no worries in that regard. 

again, thank you so for everything. this has been a great learning experience for me and i'm glad i was able to entertain you with my rendition of my favourite fictional teenage murderers.
