the door opened abruptly and before stu could even mumble a greeting. you pushed him out of the way and ripped yourself out of the warmth of randy.

stu closed the door behind randy after tumbling in. "jeez, looks like you two were in a rush" stu joked, looking over at you now on the couch out if breath and randy sprawled out in the floor nearest the tv.

"yeah, (y/n), did you think you were gonna be late?" tatum chimed in, her voice was sincere and soft offering a hug to comfort you. "you ok?" she tried to distress you from the situation.

"do you want a glass of water?" sid inquired rubbing circles on the back of your shirt. you felt as if you were about to cry all if this seemed so targeted.

"i got a call, saying that i needed to come here i swear it was the same guy from before." your panicked tone didn't settle the rest of the group. randy from the ground vouched for you explaining in detail what you told him in his car. sid decided to grab that glass of water and give it to you. the coolness felt good on your burning throat, it felt as if you'd been screaming for years.

you heard the soft click of a door being locked. "you're safe." stu reassured before falling on the chair across from you. his blue eyes looking into yours, you though this random act of kindness and consideration was strange for stu. you wouldn't be surprised if he pushed you out the door to fend for yourself as a sick prank.

then again, two students from school had been murdered and you've now received two strange phone calls from who you assumed to be the "woodsboro killer" as the name has been dubbed.

"you know, where's billy?" randy inquired from the floor sitting up looking at the others sat on the couch.

"oh he's just downstairs getting some beers" stu replied his blue eyes bounding from randy's to yours. consciously, you realized that he was paying special attention to you. you didn't know what to think. "i told him to grab one for you (y/n), and none for you randy." he stuck his tongue out in playful banter.

"of course, fuck you." randy retorted rolling his eyes and crossing his arms. randy physically looked more relaxed as he leaned against the couch still sitting on the carpet on the floor. randys voice was monotone sounding annoyed and irritated by stu's playfulness.

you continued to have small talk with the girls, tatum inquiring more about the phone calls although on the other hand sidney advised her not to bring it up. she knew it was a sensitive topic for you. the whole situation reminded sidney of the situation with her mother which pained her to see you go through something almost similar and the memories brought with it.

loud heavy footsteps emerged from the basement as billy swung open the brown wooden door leading into the living room you were all sited in. in billy's arms there were a total of six or seven glass beer bottles clanking around as he moved. one for the each of you.

"oh shit" billy looked semi-suprised before his face become softer again, the tenseness in his shoulders dropped once he saw you. his brown eyes scanned from your face to randy's eyes before he made a snark comment. billy's eyes scanned the room and sat on the floor next to randy handing him a beer bottle. "here you go, you alcoholic." it wasn't a secret in the group that randy at time could be a heavy drinker on certain occasions.

he stood up again and placed himself between you and tatum and sidney earning a few retorts from the girls and their immediate separation from you on the couch.

"so i guess you heard the news about um... shit...what was her name?" he looked to stu with a confused look on his face letting a nervous laugh slip from his lips.

"i don't remember." stu looked quizzed shifting his shoulders and placing his hands out horizontally towards the side as to say with his body language that he didn't know.

"casey becker, you idiot." tatum huffed giving looks to both boys before returning a soft smile to you. she turned her attention back to whatever conversation her and sidney were in, ignoring you now.
