A/N: The song up above is going to be needed at the END of the chapter. You'll see what I mean!
Zayn
Four days after Niall's doctors appointment, and three days before the lad was scheduled to start chemo, there was a large meeting held with Modest! management that dealt with our modified schedules from this point on. The band would be receiving a three week break for starters, enough time for Niall to get back on his feet again and get through his very first treatment. After the break, despite the fact we weren't on tour anymore, One direction would be doing at least one interview every week, and at least one concert every three. Even if Niall ended up being in the hospital, or just too sick for an appearance, we would still be required to go on with out him. When we first realized this, we'd all been fairly upset. Niall however, was more hurt than anything, and though he said rarely said anything about the way he was feeling, We were all able to tell. This only made us more upset. There was no getting around the circumstances however, and so we were all forced to keep our mouths shut and deal.

"Mate, we should plan something for tomorrow." Louis suddenly stated, his voice hushed but loud enough for me to be able to hear him.
I glanced up from my drawing pad for a moment to raise my eye brows at the older lad.
"What are you on about Tommo?" I asked skeptically.
Tomorrow is the last day we have before Niall's treatment is to start, and I was fairly sure there were some important tasks to take care of in that regard, tasks like grocery shopping, for instance, and packing in preparation for a five day stay at the hospital.
"I'm saying we should take advantage of tomorrow. Zayn, it could be Niall's last really good day for awhile, and I think we should make the most of it you know? Go out, play some football, go to Nando's for dinner even."I thought about the proposal for a moment. There really was a lot to be done tomorrow, however, I knew where exactly Louis was coming from. After Niall started his treatment, he would most likely be too sick to do a lot of things for awhile. The thought honestly scared me, scared us all really.
"I- I think that sounds like a great idea Lou." I said finally, and the Doncaster lad cheered."Let's make some plans then!" He exclaimed, jumping up from his place on the living room sofa and running up the stairs to go and wake the other lads.
I smirked. It was nearing midnight by this point, and I knew for a fact that none of the others were going to be very pleaded waking up to a roudy Tomlinson. As if turned out, I was right.
Not a moment later...
"LOUIS!"

The next morning, after all of us had gotten ourselves together, we headed out in Niall's black Range Rover, intent on starting off the packed day we had planned. All of the mandatory tasks had been taken care of already, thanks to Liam, and so now we had the rest of the day to do whatever we pleased. Our first stop happened to be Wembley Stadium. There, we would be meeting a few members of the Derby County F.C for a carefree game of football.
"Alright lads, we're here!" Liam called out, just as he pulled into the massive parking area behind the stadium.
"I am so ready for this! I can't believe we're going to be playing with some of the most talented footballers in the country, within Wembley Stadium no less. I'm dying right now, seriously pumped!" Niall exclaimed as he jumped out of the car.
I stopped, and paled, momentarily caught on the innocent words that had fallen from the lads mouth.
"I'm dying."
Three weeks ago, I wouldn't have given the simple phrase a second thought. That was before the diagnosis. Before I realized that Niall really could be dying.
"Zayn, mate, you alright there?"
I blinked, and in front of me stood my four band mates, all with slightly concerned expressions on their faces.
"Hm? Oh..yeah. Yeah. I'm good. L-lets go play yeah?"
