The road to his destination was too silent. Too silent for his liking. Or was it him who blocked out all of the sounds? He didn't know.

The moment Akihiko got a phone call from a hospital, he didn't even wait for the nurse to talk. He hung up on them the moment they told him the call was from the hospital a little far from his home. He knew they called him for his baby brother, he was the only one with him as the emergency call after all. Akihiko immediately grabbed his car key on the table and put his sandals on.

Akihiko ran out of the house with Stanley in his shirt, aware of Take and the twin huskies followed behind him. He opened the door of the car, holding it open to let the dogs entered first and he followed after. The moment the engine roared, he stepped on the gas pedal.

He was not sure why but he got a bad feeling about this. A feeling he didn't like one bit. And who was he kidding, he felt like this everytime Takemichi got kidnapped or hurted. So yeah, he hate this feeling.

Along the way to the hospital, he could feel the paws on his head. They were stroking his hair gently trying to comfort him. He also could feel how Stanley give him a comforting squeeze in his shirt.

But he wouldn't stop panicking, not until he saw his baby brother with his own eyes. He may be too overprotective, people could say whatever they want, he didn't care because Takemichi was the only reason why he was still alive. Call him dramatic or whatever but that was a fact and he wouldn't deny that Takemichi is more important than they thought.

Takemichi is the light that took him away from the edge.

While he drives, he focused on keeping his breathing steady. His chest felt like burning, wicking away the air in his lungs. What if Takemichi hurted badly? Would Takemichi survive? What if he lose Takemichi? No, no, no. Takemichi wouldn't leave him like their parents. He clenched his jaw tight, stepping on the pedal harder careful not to break any law.

When they arrived at the hospital, he parked the car in first empty lot he could see. Getting out, he held the door for the dogs before slammed the door closed, locking it. He hurriedly ran inside the hospital not minding the looks he got from the people around, he ignored how the people made a path for him to ran inside.

He looked at the nurse straight in her eyes when he arrived at the desk, where a fragile looking nurse looked at him nervous. "Hanagaki Takemichi". He watched as the nurse check for the name with her trembled hands. looking up to him nervously, the nurse struggled to find her words.

"O-operating room 8, S-sir. It's down-" Before the nurse could finished her words off, he turned on his heels ready to go to his baby brother. Before he could take even three steps, the nurse called for him. He glared at her but wait for her to talk nonetheless. He ignored how the nurse squeaked.

"What?"

"P-pets are not allowed here, sir." The nurse pointed at the dogs shakily, avoiding Akihiko's eyes a best as she could.

Akihiko looked at her fuming, taking a deep breathe slightly before he talked "One, They're my children" Akihiko glared at her again, snarling "Two, we need to see my brother"

The nurse was not backing down even if she was trembling, Akihiko could praise her for that "We still can't allow you to bring them, sir. Or I will call the guard to take them outside" She said, pressing one of the button on the phone.

When he saw the guards approached them, he let out a dark aura, glaring at them  "Touch them even a fur, I dare you" he warned them with his raspy voice. The witnesses could hear the anger in his voice.

Everyone near Akihiko struggled to keep standing, their knees felt weak. It quickly overwhelmed them. Fortunately a male doctor with white hair, tanned skin and red eyes came to check on the commotion going on before anything worse happen.
