Older Brother?

It was Saturday morning, a week after Takemichi got discharged from hospital. Akihiko let out a tired sigh. Getting a call for checking up on an animal in Roppongi on the weekend really dampened his mood. He was supposed to spend his time with his younger brother. Akihiko sighed once again, well a responsibility was still a responsibility.

Not to mention his car was currently being repaired. Ughh. He hated how crowded the train usually was.

Akihiko was on his way to go home where his baby brother was waiting for him when he saw a scene that made him mad. Two guys were cornering a scared, weak-looking kid openly in public. One of them held the kid's book up above their head. Akihiko was seething when people just kept going with their life and not even helping the kid. 

Well, the kid reminded him of his baby brother.

Walking to them stealthily, Akihiko bonked the tallest bully's head taking the book quickly when the guy lower it because of shock. He gave the book back to the kid with a warning to be careful, ignoring the shocked look the two bullies gave him. He watched as the kid bowed to him in about three times with stuttering thanks before dashing out of there. The kid got speed.

Akihiko was about to walk away when one of the bullies called out to him. 

"Wait wait wait,.." Akihiko side-stepped them, refusing to let them touch him and continued walking. Eventually, Akihiko stopped walking when the begging was becoming too much and too loud. Ugh, why couldn't he go back to his baby brother now?

Letting out a tired sigh again, he turned to the two of them "So, what do you want?" Akihiko raised an eyebrow when he saw their excited expression.

The tallest smiled at Akihiko, pointing at him enthusiastically "You're the Cobra!" Their eyes were shining so bright making Akihiko confused. What was the hype? Was he really changed too much within those four years that people were shocked when they recognize him?

Too lazy to handle whatever they wanted to throw at him, Akihiko turned on his heels to walk away when the begging continued. 

"Wait Cobra-san! Hear us out!" Since they were too loud and gained people's attention too much, Akihiko humoured them by listening to them. 

"So?"

Grinning excitedly, the tallest continued "I'm Haitani Ran and this is my younger brother, Rindou!" Ran pointed at himself before pointing towards Rindou. Akihiko watched as both of them nodded in greetings, not bothering to return the gestures. They didn't deserve it since they were taking his time to go back to his baby brother.

"... your point is?" 

"LET US BE YOUR DISCIPLE!" The tallest, Ran said with sparkling eyes. The other one also nodded in agreement but not without red-tinted his ears.

Akihiko looked at them blankly. Ran and Akihiko stared at each other for a long time, one with excitement while the other blank. You know who is who. Without giving any response, Akihiko turned on his heels and walked fastly to the train station. He ignored how the two called out for him but he clearly heard the footsteps behind him. 

People around looked at them weird. I meant, who wouldn't when the older's face seemed to be blank all the way but the two ducklings behind him were talking nonstop, trying to talk and convince the older. 

Akihiko thought that they would stop following him once he got onto the train, but he was wrong. A big wrong. He looked up at those two who were standing in front of him on the train and grumbled under his breath. What was wrong with these brats? He really shouldn't interfere with the conflict earlier. Ugh, now he paid the consequence.
