A broken being. That was how that 'person' always call me. But I can't blame him, since it was true.

I am a broken being.

My heart was shattered.

Dreams crushed.

And lifeless.

I don't know how to describe myself, and I've wondered how I've been able to put up with this for countless regressions.

I want to rest. Please.

"Lily. I don't want to go."

A dinner together. I have always wanted to have dinner together with my father and wished he'd call me. But no, my childish feelings seeking fatherly love had changed through countless pains.

"Princess, are you feeling unwell?"

I want to rest.... But this world. It despised me. And likes to see me suffer.

"No, I'm is fine. I'm... I'm just a little tired. Lily."

"I see. Then I will tell Sir Robane that you won't be able to go."

Lily left the room after kissing my forehead. I left immediately earlier after Felix Robane uttered his intentions.

"His majesty wanted to spend time with the princess and would like to dine together tonight."

It made me feel disgusted. After all these years? The abandonment I've felt many times?

Tsk. I should stop thinking about it, it's just making my head ache worse.

Plop.

Tears. Tears are flowing out from my eyes and my chest ached. Such a foreign feeling. Has it really been that long since I've felt this?

Freezing my heart with magic was out of the question. Since I promised that I won't do that, to that person.

But this time, I want to do it. Unnecessary emotions are just nuisance. They are in the way.

I clasped my chest, golden light turning into dark blue appeared from my palms as I close my eyes.

'After this, even just a little bit. I think I'll be free.'

I chuckled at such a ridiculous thought. There's no way, such magic existed.

I'm crying again. Annoying.

But I wish that someday, I'll be set free from this curse.

The air pressure inside my room mainly from me appeared. Such strong gusts of wind.

Anyone nearby would notice this too. This sealing magic emits such strong magic particles. But I don't care since it wasn't the time to be thinking such useless thoughts.

"I'm sorry for breaking my promise-

A huge explosion occurred in the Ruby Palace. The maids as well as Lilian York became worried. Hearts beating fast as it came from the room of their princess.

"Princess!" the first one to arrive was Lilian York.

The room was messy but there wasn't any damage, it was as if a strong gust of wind appeared and dissipated quickly after making such a mess.

And especially, the princess was fine. She was sitting on the corner of her bed, looking outside the window.

Lilian York quickly ran toward her to see if she was alright.

"Princess, are you alright? were you hurt?"

However the princess in question did not respond, a blank smile appeared on her face as she turned her attention toward Lilian York.
