Ever since Tony hired Happy he never knew any of his family, he just assumed happy didn't want to talk about it or he didn't have any so he never asked. What he didn't know was that Happy had a daughter named (y/n), Happy loved her with all his heart and if asked about her he could talk for hours. He was always super proud of (y/n), her achievements, grades and overall her personality.

Tony however hadn't had a clue about (y/n) nor did he care until one day...

Tony was in his lab as usual and had a meeting about a half an hour drive away, the meeting started about ten minutes ago but he always likes to be 'fashionably late' as he says. So he called up happy asking if he could quickly drive him there and he was obviously expecting a yes as he was his driver and he couldn't remember if he had ever actually said no (That was probably because he hadn't slept in a few days but oh well). To Tony's surprise Happy said "no. Sorry have to pick up my daughter from school." To say Tony was shocked would be such an understatement. He was literally stood still for a good 5 minutes before pepper walked in. She was going to yell at him for being late to a meeting (yet again). Until she found him frozen. she thought something was wrong until Tony told her what he heard. She was then stuck for five minutes, they then started talking about what they thought he meant. Tony personally thought he was joking but pepper really believed happy.

They soon forgot about the meeting and twenty minutes later non other than Happy walked in. They instantly started bombarding him with questions which he tried to answer as best as possible. When they concluded he did have a daughter they really wanted to meet her because he said she was into engineering and science. Once Tony was hooked on meeting her Happy said (y/n) was a big fan of pepper and would really love to interview her on women owning businesses. Pepper was also hooked.

Happy was stunned, he thought they would not want anything to do with her, he honestly thought they wouldn't want to meet a (y/a) year old. He knew (y/n) would probably want to do it and asked when he should bring her over and Tony and Pepper said they could go to his house. Happy was still stumbling over his words in shock but knew (y/n) would 100% want to meet them both as they were a big inspiration. He wanted it to be a surprise so he said "I will take you to my house now as (y/n) is home and I know she will love to meet you !!" With the biggest grin on his face Tony had ever seen. Wait. THE ONLY GRIN HE HAS EVER SEEN.

Pepper, Tony and Happy all went down to the car garage and got in Tony's favourite car, all buzzing with excitement to see how (y/n) would react. And so 30 minutes later they all arrived at Happy's how's and now that Tony thinks about it he doesn't think he has ever seen Happy's house. It was a nice double story with a blue garage door and a porch with lots of flowers and plants. Tony and Pepper always thought he lives somewhere gloomier and with much less colour and a lot more rain.

Happy lead them to the door and Got his keys out to open the door but before doing so he turned to the two behind him. "Please be quiet
I haven't told (y/n) your coming over and I want to surprise her" Happy said still with a big grin on his face. Pepper and Tony laughed at how happy he was but agreed to keep quiet.
They walked in the house after unlocking the door and (y/n) heard the door and yelled from the living room "come here dad the new episode of (y/f/s) is on" you yelled with an audible smile. Happy's smile somehow got wider as he began walking into the living room leading Tony and Pepper with him. When They all reached the living room Happy made a soft grumble noise to get you attention. You turned to look at him but when you saw THE Mr and Mrs stark standing less than 5 meters away. You almost passed out from excitement. You started squealing and running towards them giving them each a big hug yet still trying to keep your excitement at bay (it didn't work). Once you had calmed down a bit you looked toward them and saw the huge smiles on their face and started to introduce yourself "I-I'm (y/n) u-ummm..." you were at a loss for words when Pepper interrupted "nice to meet you (y/n) we hear you were a big fan and since your dad works for us and is a close family friend we really wanted to meet you we were also interesting in what the hell happy made, we also heard you love all the things we do and that you had questions" Pepper said trying to contain her smile (again failing miserably). "Yes I wanted to ask bot of you questions Mrs Stark"(y/n) said with the biggest sweetest smile she could.
Tony turned to her and said "go ahead honey"

You were still flabbergasted by their appearances in your house but dove straight into asking questions *science question *  (I straight up don't know any questions to ask so you can make this part up :) )

After you got done with that conversation everyone started having a more casual talk but then Mr and Mrs Stark said you could come over to the lab any time. You almost exploded joy. Mr stark said he was ok with it as he knew you were pretty smart and that if he wanted you out at any point pepper could take over and bring you to her office.

Overall this was the best way your day could have possibly went and yeah of course you had the occasional visit to the lab but you became big friends with all the avengers.
