Namiko
My new shiny pumps stepped out of the taxi as I took a deep breathe of the chilled New York air. As a Cali girl I never really experienced a true winter like a person from the east coast would. I walking into the apartment leasing building right above the streets of time square. I know this area wasn't the ideal place to raise a child, but it has always been a dream of mine to wake up and be right in the city.
"Good afternoon. My name is Namiko Davis. I called to potentially rent an apartment here."
"Oh okay right this way" the female worker said
It was amazing. There was a wall that was filled with windows, a master bedroom fit for a queen, and a kitchen that looked to made for a chef. This would definitely be perfect for me.
"I'll take it" I said smiling before she could even tell me the price. She then showed the price and all the necessary paperwork.
"My brother will come and pay the down payment a little later. You have a good day" with that I walked outside.
Next up a shopping day!
I walked through Times Square deciding where to go. I stopped at Aldo, then Sephora, and the biggest H&M I've ever seen.
After about 4 hours of hitting almost a million stores, I was ready to hit the floor. I met my brother at Ninjas New York for dinner before going to the hotel.
"Wassup lil sis"
"Nothing much. Just thinking about the baby situation. I decided to keep it, but raise it here away from the drug game. I don't want Mili to know about it just try though. I'll tell him when the time is right." I sighed
"When is the 'right time'? Just when you've had the kid and it believes it doesn't have a father?" He asked sarcastically
"I don't understand why you're so worried about it. You're acting like you're the one that has to make all of these decisions and on top of that try not to be stressed. And no I'm going to tell him whenever I've figured it out for myself. It's not like I'm never going to tell him about his child." He sighed.
"Alright Nami. Do what you want. You just can't hide from him forever. Let's finish up and get out of this bourgeois ass place" I laughed.

Before the clock got to 9, I walked into this local luxury furniture store.
"Welcome to Modani Furniture. My name is Stephanie. Do you need assistance with anything?"
"Yes please. I recently moved here and I want to decorate my apartment kind of like this." I showed her a picture I found on Pinterest and the layout of the apartment.
"Ok so I totally think you should do an all white living room set to bring out the view of the city. But with the bedroom you have a million and one possibilities you could go glam, bohemian, or rustic. It all depends on your style. Since we're getting ready to close, I'll give you my number don't hesitate to call and I can help you anytime."
