Miliano

Namiko is so beautiful. From her long black hair to her caramel colored toes. I'm whipped and it's only day one. I need to get it together. I remember when my motto was "Fuck,Duck, and run like hell!" But now I'm talking 'bout her fucking toes. Who the hell does this? So far, she's the essence of perfection, but the only problem with her is the fact that her dad is my boss and her brother won't hesitate to kick my Dominican ass. My mother always told me to fight for what I wanted. And I sure as hell will be fighting for Namiko.

I looked at my cocoa toned skin in mirror as I sprayed on a little cologne, just enough for her to catch a hint of it and think about me long after I'm gone. I didn't want to tell Namiko where I was taking her for lunch. I wanted it to be somewhat of a surprise. When we were getting to know each other, all she talked about was how much she loved Thai food which I found bizarre because of her ethnic background. I felt my palms begin to sweat and a tight clenching in my stomach, as I pulled my Corvette into the driveway. There  was no way I was nervous because we were just friends, I hardly know the girl at all. I rang the doorbell and seemed almost instantly she opened the door. I felt my jaw drop to the stone step that I stood on. Stunning could even begin to describe how she looked at that moment.
"You're late." She frowned as soon as she swung the door open.
I was 8:44 and I told her I would be here closer to 8 o'clock.
"Sorry about that I had business to take care of. And I don't just wake up to perfection. It takes time to be this fine." I gave her a cheesy grin hoping she'd accept my apology.
"Yeah whatever, let's just go." She rolled her eyes at my ignorance
"I hope they get stuck." I walked behind her and watched her ass jiggle as she made her way to my car.
Namiko

I waited for Miliano's arrival for most of the day. Before he arrived, I sat in the living room, anticipating the ringing of the doorbell.
"Where you going dressed like that?" My brother came to where I was sitting with a mug on his face.
"Out. Don't worry about it."
"Who you going with? I know you and Tiffany are still mad at each other so you can't be going with her." Tiffany was my best friend but she was mad at me that I wouldn't go to some party with her and on top of that I was mad at her because she was hanging out with some bitch I had beef with from high school.
"Why does it matter I'm grown?"
Before he could question me some more, the door bell rang and I knew it was Milli.

I dressed in a long royal blue sundress and gold sandals. It took me most of the morning to curl my ropes of hair and apply my makeup perfectly. I didn't want to overdo the jewelry, so I kept it simple with gold hoops, a necklace, and I charm bracelet my father bought me for my 16th birthday.

I heard his car pull into the driveway and I eagerly swung open the front food when he rang the doorbell. He was dressed simply; dark jeans, a black shirt,Jordans, and his gold chains and grill. I never really noticed how attractive he was until that very moment.

After riding in the car for 30 minutes, we arrived at a Thai restaurant which brought a wide smile to my face.
"I thought you would like this." Miliano says in his smooth velvety voice. He remembered me saying how much I loved Thai food, even when I thought he had lost interest.

I never thought that dinner with Miliano would go as well as it did since our first meeting was disastrous. It was nice; he opened doors for me, pulled out my chair for me, and seemed genuinely interested in me. I thought chivalry had died. Who knew thugs could be the one to revive it?

"Put this blind fold on. I want to take you one more place."
"No. I'm not putting the on. I'm going to mess my lashes up."
"Stop being difficult Nami. Just put it on for a little while."
"Sure." It was evident that I had an attitude.

The ride was long, but sooner than I thought the car came to a stop.
I still had the blindfold on and I could hear the sound of splashing water.
"You can take that off now."
I removed the fabric from my eyes and looked to see where we were.
It was beautiful
"You took me to the beach?" I looked into his brown eyes.
"Yeah this is my thinking spot. I used to come here when my brother died. Let me show you a piece of me." He took my hand into his and walked me towards a large rock near the water.
"I used to sit here and scream when I felt like giving up. Coming here stopped me from doing so many stupid things. I heard you yesterday when you were crying in the bathroom. Whatever you're going through just now you got me to talk to and rock to cry on."
"Thank you." You could feel the tension between us and before you knew it. We were sitting on the rock having a full blown make out session.
