Maiden's Peak

The gang were sailing on a ferry from the resort of Porta Vista to a landmark called Maiden's Peak

"Maiden's Peak welcomes the passengers arriving from Porta Vista. We invite you to attend our annual summer's end festival, now in progress" a Man said through a speaker

"Sounds like a lot of fun." Ash said

"Yeah, we'll definitely have lots of fun here" Serena said excitedly

Brock looked to his left & a woman with a white dress, light purple hair with a red flower in it standing near the ocean.

"Who's that?" Brock wondered

"Hey Brock, are you coming?" Serena called out as Brock looked at her & Ash

"What? Oh yeah, I'll be right there" Brock called out as he looked back to where the woman was standing, but he didn't see her "Huh? Where'd she go?"

"Is everything alright, Brock?" Ash asked

"Oh no, everything's fine, it's just...I thought I saw something" Brock said

They went to the Pokémon Center & had Nurse Joy work on the Gyaradosite, after she worked on the Mega Stone, Ash had Gyarados pick out the equipment it wanted to wear the Mega Stone with. Gyarados chose to where the Mega Stone in neck holder. After they had fun at the festival

"Welcome to the summer end's festival, we will now display the shrine of the Maiden's greatest treasure. For 2,000 years, this painting has hung within the shrine of the Maiden. Once each year, it is removed from the shrine & displayed to the public during the festival. As I unveil the painting, please gaze upon it with reverence." The old man said as he removed the cloth from the painting

The painting revealed to be the same woman Brock saw when he & the gang got off the boat.

"The woman in this painting perished over 2,000 years ago. She was in love with a brave & handsome young man but he left her & sailed away to fight in a war. She waited for him for a very long time, hoping to see his ship on the horizon, but he never returned to that place again. Still, she waited & waited, never moving from that spot, until finally her body was turned into stone, just like the cliff upon which she stood. To this day, she waits for him to return." The old man explained

When The Gang got to The Pokémon Center. Brock told Ash that he saw a woman who look just like the Maiden

"& When I turned for a second & looked back to where she was standing, she was gone. It was like she vanished into thin air." Brock explained "I don't know what it was, but it was probably just my imagination"

"You there, boy" a voice said

Ash turned & saw a short old woman

"May I help you?" Ash said

"Yes, what is your name?" The old woman asked

"Ash Ketchum, I'm from Pallet Town." Ash said

"Hmm," the old woman said as she looked closely at him with a magnifying glass "come to the Maiden's Rock at 9:00 tonight. It's not far from the shrine"

At 9:00, the gang went to the Maiden's Rock

"I'm glad you accepted my invitation." The old woman said

"Why did you want us to meet you here?" Ash asked

"You see, I'm not exactly human." The old woman said as she turned into a black sphere with eyes & a mouth, & purple gas surrounding it.

"I'm a Pokémon" the Pokémon said as Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone

Gastly, the Gas Pokémon, A Ghost & Poison Type, Gastly likes to lurk in abandoned buildings, where its presence sometimes causes strange lights to flicker. The gaseous Pokémon is hard to see, but it gives off a surprisingly delicate, sweet scent.

"The reason why I brought you here is because there's a connection between you & the Maiden." Ghastly explained

"How's that?" Ash asked

"It appears that you are a descendant of the Maiden." Gastly said

"What?" The gang said in shock

"You see, I personally know the Maiden. Before the Maiden's lover went to war, she was carrying his child. She had the baby which was a boy & raised him by herself." Gastly explained

"How can you tell I'm her descendant?" Ash asked

"Because I sense 2 kinds of powers you possess within you & its the exact same powers that the Maiden & her son each possess. & the her lovers last name was Ketchum" Gastly explained

"Why didn't the legend say anything about the Maiden & her son's powers & why didn't anyone know that the maiden had a son?" Brock asked

"Because, once the Maiden discovered her powers, she feared that those powers would bring danger to herself & others would fear her, so she kept it a secret." Gastly answered "Only a few knew she had a son."

"Did her lover know about her power?" Serena asked

"He did & promised her not to tell. Fortunately, she & her son were able to control their powers. Before I go, I'd like to give you this" Gastly said as he made a face that looked like he was about to vomit.

"Bleh" Gastly said as he stuck out his tongue revealing a Ghost Type TM

"Oh, that's disgusting" Meowth said repulsively as Ash took the TM

"It's a TM03.1 containing the move Curse." Gastly said

"Thank you, Gastly. But who was the Maiden's son" Ash asked

"You will find out once you go to the Kingdom of Rota, he is very well known there & remember, once you discover your powers, use them wisely & be sure to use them for good." Gastly said as he disappeared

The next day, people placed little boats on the ocean

"At the end of every summer, the visitors send out these tiny boats, each one with a candle to help light the way for any wandering spirits who can't find their way back home." Jenny said

After that, the gang & the people danced in kimonos at the summer's end festival & There are mysteries that are yet to be discovered as the journey continues.

I decided to have the Maiden from Maiden's peak have her lover's child so she could have a special part of him with her, that way she can still be happy.
