The gang were at an area eating rice balls until Ash sense something in the bushes

"Hey, who's there?" Ash called out

"What's wrong, Ash?" Serena asked

But there was silence

"I'm gonna ask you one more time, who's there?" Ash called out once more

There was still silence

"Alright, you asked for it. Pikachu use Thunde-" Ash said before a boy with brown curly hair, black eyes, wearing a pink & purple striped shirt, blue shorts, & brown shoes came out of the bushes

"Alright Alright, I'm out! Sheesh!" The boy said anxiously

"Why were you spying on us?" Ash asked

"No, I wasn't spying. I was taking pictures of your Pokémon" The boy said

"Well, you could've just asked." Serena scolded

"Yeah, sorry." The boy sweatdropped before looking at the gang. "Hey wait, I recognize you guys, you're the people with the Aerodactyl back at Grampa Canyon."

"You were at Grampa Canyon?" Ash asked

"Yeah, my name's Todd, I'm a Pokémon photographer." Todd said

"I'm Ash & these are my partners Pikachu & Meowth." Ash said

"Pika." Pikachu greeted

"Howdy." Meowth said

"I'm Brock." Brock said

"I'm Serena & these are my partners Eevee & Togepi." Serena said

"Eevee." Eevee greeted

"Togepi." Togepi squealed in happiness

"Wow, a Togepi." Todd beamed "I heard they come from the Johto Region. Mind if I take a picture of it."

"Not at all." Serena said as Todd took a picture

When they went to Todd's house, the gang saw pictures on the walls.

"Wow, you certainly got a collection." Serena said amazingly

"I know, all those Pokémon are living in their own natural habitats. None of them are posing, considering how peaceful they are. Those photographs show them the way they ought to be." Todd said

"That looks amazing, Todd." Brock said in awe

"They're so carefree & happy." Serena said

"I can show the world how happy & beautiful Pokémon are in the wild with these pictures." Todd said

"You definitely have a talent for this." Ash compliment

"Yeah, that's why I don't want to take pictures of Pokémon who are posing, especially when they're sad & scared." Todd said "Say Ash, do you have that Aerodactyl with you?"

"I do." Ash said

"Can you send it outside & fly around, so I can take a picture of it. I didn't get a chance to take one back at Grampa Canyon" Todd asked

"Sure." Ash said

When they went outside.

"Aerodactyl, I choose you!" Ash said

"Aerodactyl!" Aerodactyl screeched

"Aerodactyl, go fly around." Ash said

"Aero." Aerodactyl said as he flew around

"Wow, what an amazing sight." Todd said as he took a few pictures then he noticed something on Aerodactyl's ankle "Wait, is that a Mega Stone?"

"Yes it is." Ash nodded

"Can you mega evolve Aerodactyl, please?" Todd asked "It'll be my first experience taking pictures of a mega evolved Pokémon."

"Ok." Ash said as he touched the Key Stone of his Mega Necklace. "Aerodactyl, Mega Evolve!"

Aerodactyl glowed red-orange & mega evolved into Mega Aerodactyl. Mega Aerodactyl had grown larger in size and sprouted jagged black spikes all over its body: five spikes at the wrist joint of each wing replacing his hands, three small spikes along his tail, one spike on each ear, and a long spike on his chin. The spike on his back and his rear talons had become black and stony. Rocky plates cover his eyebrows and the corners of his jaw. Similar stone ornaments are present on his chest on his torso: two small ridges flanking a longer ridge.

"Awesome!" Todd beamed as he took a few pictures of Mega Aerodactyl

"Mega Aerodactyl looks so cool!" Serena said in amazement

"Yeah, I can't wait to revive my Aerodactyl." Brock said excitedly as Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone

Ability: Tough Claws

"Hey guys, can I tag along with you for a little bit?" Todd asked

"Of course you can." Ash said

"Great." Todd said

So with a temporary traveling companion, the journey continues
