The next morning Dani wakes up to an extra weight on her chest. Looking down she sighed heavily when she saw how Henry had trapped her with his arms. Regardless of the position she still tried to wiggle her way out, but his arms only tightened around her. Huffing out another puff of air she instead began running her hand through his hair, waiting on him to wake up.

This wasn't the first time one of them had crawled into the others bed. It was often their mom would come to wake them up, only to find one of them using the other as a teddy bear. Her mom had plenty of pictures to prove it.

Unfortunately for Henry his sister was not a patient person. And so, after a few minutes of waiting, she smirked as an idea came to mind. " Henry? "

" MMhnag? " He mumbled out something unintelligible, still clearly asleep.

Her smirk grew as she spotted her mom in the doorway, rising a hand to her lips as a signal to be quiet. Leaning her head down a little farther, she whispered in his ear, making sure their mom couldn't hear.  " Mom found all the chocolate you've been keeping under your bed, and she looks mad. "

Henry's eyes shot open as he practically threw himself off the bed in a panic. His eyes darting from side to side. But what really made Dani lose it wasn't him falling off the bed. No, it was definitely the high-pitched squeak he let out upon seeing their mother.

Her mom raised a single eyebrow at the noise he let out. " Do I even want to know? "

Dani could hear the amusement in her voice but seeing as Henry was still panicking on the floor, she decided to take pity on him. " It's nothing mom, I just told Henry that you were really mad at him about yesterday and his tired mind freaked out. "

Regina knew that Dani wasn't telling her the full truth but decided not to push it. " Well, while we certainly aren't done talking about yesterday, I'm not mad, I was never mad.  Just so, so worried. " She smiled tightly at them as she checked her watch. " It's time to get ready for school, I'll have some breakfast ready downstairs. "

Dani frowned as she sat with Henry in their hideout. She had this sinking feeling in her chest that skipping school so soon after yesterday was a bad idea. But Henry had just seemed so desperate for a break from everything. Ironic considering it was all his plan. . .

Still, she never could resist him when he got all teary eyed. Which was exactly why they were here now, her hanging off the side of the castle upside down as they talked about the curse.

" Absolutely not! " She scoffed at his ridiculous theory.

" And why not? " His laughter was heard throughout the castle as Dani swung her head up to look at him, only to clutch her head as the world spun around her.

Glaring at him when she had recomposed herself, she quickly started back into her argument. " There is no way that Gold was ever a king! I mean unless you count king of creepy! "

Henry's face split into a wide grin at her response, but before he could retort he spotted something over her shoulder. Dani turned her head to see what caught his attention, only to frown when she saw Emma approaching. Spinning around to face the woman as she arrived Dani raised an eyebrow when she saw the book in her hands.

" You two left this in my car. " Emma paused following Henry's gaze to the clock tower in the middle of town. " Sill hasn't moved huh? "

Dani wasn't surprised her brother was looking at the clock, he had been all morning. It was the source of most of his worries. He had just been so sure that things would change the second they brought Emma to town. Dani on the other hand wasn't expecting much. How could she expect anything of the woman who had given them up?
