Luna's POV

"I want to be the queen of sweets!" 4 year old me said, dancing around the meadow. "If we were rich, I would buy a million sweets! Right, --------?" The boy turned and started to walk away. Why was he leaving? All I knew was that I didn't want to be alone again. "Please don't leave! Don't leave! Don't leave me alone again!" I was sobbing now. "You promised you would never leave me again! Please! PLEASE!" "PLEAAASSSEEEE!"

I woke up screaming, sweaty, and terrified. My heart rate was through the roof and I was breathing heavily. Candy sprang up and ran to me and buried his head into my chest. "It's okay. It's okay. Everything's fine. Just calm down," he said and nuzzled my arm. "Two very nice people took us in. They saved us from that gang, remember?" I nodded and tried to process what he was saying. I started to look around. It was a beautiful room, whites and blues filled the walls. I looked at the loveseat directly across from me. A girl and a guy that looked about my age were sitting there, the girl with her head buried in the guy's... BARE chest. In fact, he only had a pair of boxers on.

"Ummm, did I wake up at the wrong time? I'm sorry." I said and buried my head back into my pillow. They sprang up from the couch and tried to explain.

"No, no, no, no, no! That's not what was happening! It's not what it looks like!" The girl said, clearly flustered.

After I told them I got the point, they sat down, relieved. Remembering what they had done for me, I sprang up and bowed.

"Arigato, Miss and Mr." I said sincerely. They smiled.

"No problem." The man started. "By the way, I'm Gray. And this is Juvia" The girl stood and bowed.

"Juvia is pleased to meet you" the girl said sweetly. I suddenly got up. I was right!

"You're Juvia Lockster and Gray Fullbuster, members of the legendary Fairy Tail!" Suddenly realizing my rude outburst I immediately sat down. "I'm so sorry. That was extremely rude. It's just, I've loved Fairy Tail since I was a little girl. You guys are really amazing."  Juvia smiled and thanked me for the compliment. Gray's face lit up as if he had forgotten something.

"Oh yeah, about what had happened back there," He scratched the back of his head. "I don't think I went enough into detail. First off, the reason I didn't have a shirt on is because-"

"Is because it's a habit, right? Ever since you were small, your instructor always had you train in the cold because you were learning ice magic, and while training, she had you take off your clothes as well to adapt to the cold"  I turned to Juvia. "You had your head buried in his chest because you were scared of my sudden scream. When you were little, you were in need of compassion, and was very lonely. This is why when you were able to get that compassion, you grabbed something that you showed compassion for. I'm sorry I didn't figure this out sooner". Gray and Juvia's jaws dropped. Candy tugged at my dress.

"Luna, you said too much. Now they're gonna find out!" I covered my mouth with my hand. Shoot! They were going to find out. Juvia tried to speak.

"H-h-h-how did you k-k-k-know all of that?" she asked, her face dumbfounded. I nodded at Candy, who nodded back nervously. My wings emerged from being hidden inside my dress, I parted my hair so my horns were showing, and my tail sprang up from under my dress.

"My Father was the evil dragon Hades. He was the god of the underworld. And I, Luna Tsuki, am a God, well more like Demon Dragon slayer. And I, Luna Tsuiki, am a demon,"

Juvia's POV

"A-A-A-A DEMON?????" Juvia shouted, dumbfounded by the news. Luna's a demon! A DEMON!! Gray looked surprised, but then his face contorted to anger.

"You! Deliora was a demon! YOU KILLED UL!"   I saw Luna try to explain, but he wouldn't let her. "You murderer! I HATE YOU!" Just then, his phone started to ring, and he picked it up. "Hello?" he asked. Natsu was screaming into the phone, so it was easy to hear him.

"Hey! Gray?

"Yeah?"

"No time to explain, just, you and Juvia need to come over NOW!"

"Okay, I'm on my way. Bye"

Gray-sama put his phone in his back pocket and started out the door. "Juvia, stay here and deal with that freak. I have to go to the guild. Bye." he said and slammed the door. I looked over at Luna, who was in tears. She dropped to her knees and started to break down.

"I'm... so... sorry." I went over to her and put my hand on her shoulder.

"I swear, he didn't mean any of it. He was just worked up about it. That was his closest thing to a mother he had. And a demon killed her." Luna looked off into space.

"Father... he created Deliora..." I looked at her.

"Your Father?! Wait, where did you grow up? What happened when you were little?"

She didn't say anything, so I assumed that she didn't want to answer the question. I sat on the floor in front of her.

"Fine, Juvia will go first, although you know most of it already." I took a deep breath and started. "When Juvia was little, you were right, Juvia was so lonely. Juvia is a water mage, but everywhere Juvia went, it would rain. No, not just rain, but downpour even. It was because Juvia was so sad, so alone. Juvia would be taunted constantly for Juvia's rain, resulting in the fact that Juvia had no friends. Juvia would cry herself to sleep almost every night. And there was no one to console Juvia, because no one cared".  Juvia was sobbing now, my eyes red and puffy. Luna put her hand on mine, as if saying "I'm here" without moving her lips. I continued. "But then he came. Gray-sama was able to do the impossible, stop Juvia's rain. I know Gray-sama is good at heart, just comes off as cold. Believe me."

Luna smiled, then her expression contorted to sadness. She looked down at the ground, at the white rug beneath her. She told me everything, her childhood, her feelings, her sadness. But during her explanation, there's a particular name she refused to say, always referring to it as "The boy".

                Luna's POV

We both just sat there for a while, hugging and crying. Soon, Juvia suddenly got up and held out her hand. "Join Fairy Tail. We'll be your family from now on, kay?" I stared at her hand. Just, stared. A family. I would finally have a full family. People who would protect me, people whom I would protect in return. People who would accept me for who I am, people who would love me. I took her hand. Immediately after being pulled up, I hugged Juvia and continued crying into her shoulder, but this time tears of joy.

"Thank you Juvia. For saving me, for being so kind, for accepting me." She smiled.

"No problem. Juvia will always be here for you, alright? No crying," And after a filling meal, a shower, and a wash of clothes, Juvia and I started walking to Fairy Tail, hand in hand.
