8. Luna vs. Erza Pt. 1

Erza's POV

WHO DARES QUESTION THE GREAT TITANIA?! SHE WILL PAY! She has no idea how powerful I am! THERE IS NO WAY SHE IS GETTING MY SLICE OF CAKE! NO WAY IN ALL OF FIORE! But, something sticks out about her. Her bravery to actually stand up to me, for a slice of cake. SHE CARES ABOUT CAKE JUST AS MUCH AS I DO! IT'S BEAUTIFUL! Ahem. Focus, Erza. For she is your opponent. And no matter how much she cares for it, this was your cake. The sweet strawberries, the delectable peppermint, the smooth vanilla frosting, it was all yours.

Soon, we were outside, Luna's eyes seeming to shoot daggers into mine. I got into my fighting stance, ignoring a pleading Juvia telling me to stop. That was when I was amazed. Out of nowhere, Luna made a sword with her Dragon Slayer magic. It was a dark, menacing red, the blade wrapped in black swirls. There's nothing to worry about, Erza. Your primary magic is creating weapons, after all.

"*sniffle* start... *sniffle*" Juvia sobbed, a defeated look apparent on her face. I wasted no time.  "Heaven's Wheel Armor!" I yelled as I transformed into my silver dress and rose into the air. Silver daggers surrounded me and showered the land below me. Incredibly, Luna dodged each and every one of them, small black demon wings appearing on her back as she shot up to meet me in the air. I swiftly rose my blade, blocking her blow. This action had consequences, however, the recoil of the blow sending me back onto the ground, landing roughly onto my feet.

Luna, on the other hand, landed lightly onto the hard earth. "Not bad. For a newbie," I said, the silver handle of my sword gripped tightly in my hand. "Oh, just you wait," she responded, charging for me again.  But this time, I was ready to retaliate. I blocked her blow again and aimed for her waist, which she dodged with ease. I then barely blocked a blow from behind, stumbling forward. How did she get behind me so quickly?

She lunged for me again, ripping my dress. A wave of confusion took over my face. But wasn't she was just behind me...? Wait, if it's speed and agility I'm up against... "Flight Armor!" I yelled as my torn dress was replaced by a cheetah print chest plate and a long cloth from the waist down. (by the way, her flight armor allows her to move quickly, and makes her extremely agile. She fought Cobra with it.) Now, it was my turn.

She jumped back and charged for me again, but this time her fist was engulfed by the same red from the sword. "Demon Punch of the Hell Dragon!" she yelled, aiming for my face. I ducked to dodge it, missing her blow by a hair. I then kicked towards her chin, my move successful and landing square in the face. She stumbled back and wiped her now bloody lip.

She was left wide open. I sped forward and kicked her in the back, causing her to stumble again. This was it. My chance for the final blow. The cake was mine. I charged once again, kicking in the side, hard. It sent her across the battle field, and into a tree. She slumped against it, most likely unconscious from my hard blow.

Juvia ran onto the field and next to Luna, sobbing uncontrollably. "The winner is, Er-"

Suddenly, Luna started to chuckle. Her chuckle evolved into a laugh, her laugh into a mad cackle. She stood up, her black and white dress torn and a streak of red on her arm. I stared in horror at her now completely black left eye, with a pupil of red.

"Wow, Erza. You're incredibly strong. I very seldom use this form, but this is an emergency, right? I mean, it's for cake!" she said, her voice deeper than her regular one. She was then surrounded by darkness as she let out an evil laugh When the magic cleared, a girl I never saw before stood before me. She wore a low cut black leotard, with fishnet stockings. Her hair was long and...white. "Luna?" I whispered, the girl before me. She began to laugh again. "That nice and gentle girl you once knew is no more! Say hello to my half demon form!"
