"Daddy, wait! Make sure you leave the night light on!" Royalty called from her bed. Zeus laid at the end, snoring softly.
Chris grabbed her led light remote and switched the light to a low orange. "There. I set the timer to three hours so it'll turn off while you sleepin."
"Okay, good night."
"Night, baby." He kissed her forehead before leaving out.
As he walked inside of his room, he took his hoodie off and tossed it in the hamper by his door. Kyrie laid in bed scrolling on her phone. She briefly looked at him before going back to her scrolling.
Chris grabbed some clothes from his drawer to change into after he showered. Kyrie was still upset at him after what happened and she didn't have a problem letting him know that. They hardly talked at all today. Everytime she tried to bring up the obvious, he brushed it off as if it was nothing.
She wasn't upset because of him possibly fucking Jamie, she was upset because he had her around Royalty without talking to her about it. She would never do anything like that to him so she was confused on why he thought it was okay for him to do it to her.
Chris was out of the shower and ready for bed a few minutes later. He crawled in bed getting on top of Kyrie much to her dismay. She let out a sigh of frustration as he started kissing her lips repeatedly.
"Can you leave me the fuck alone... please?" She flashed a fake smile before looking away.
"Whatchu mad for?"
"Stop asking stupid questions."
Chris sighed. "I told you, it was nothing. Her friend wanted to see her and she asked for Jamie to stay as well. That's it."
"That's where you should've called me so I could confirm that it was okay," she started to sit up, prompting Chris to follow suit.
"My 'okay' should've been enough. That's my child too, Ky."
"You know why it wasn't enough? Because we co parent. We don't make those kinda decisions on our own, and you know that," Kyrie rolled her eyes. "How would you feel if I had a man parading around her without you knowing?"
Chris gave her a plain look. "Don't even put that shit in my head."
"Exactly, you dick." She scoffed. "And the fact this it's that bitch from Rai's party makes it worse. I don't want her around my kid anymore."
Chris' deep frown didn't go unnoticed. It made Kyrie raise her eyebrows in surprise. She then pointed at him.
"Oh, you really fucked her, huh?"
I should've.
"Man, no." Chris waved her off.
"So fix your fucking face! I said what I said and if I find out otherwise, I'm gonna beat yours and her ass." She poked between his eyes. "Play with me."
Chris shook his head. "You know that won't be fair to Ro. She likes her."
"So you had her around and she's already playing step mama?" Kyrie chuckled unamused. "Don't make me slap you."
"Stop jumpin to conclusions. That's not what the fuck I said."
"You didn't have to say it! I don't want you talking to her."
Chris frowned. "I talk to whoever the fuck I want. You not my girl."
Kyrie grabbed his face, getting closer. "As long as you're fucking me, and I'm fucking you, then I can tell you whatever the fuck I wanna tell you." She roughly pecked his lips. "Sweetie."
"Yeah, aight." He rolled his eyes, ignoring the fact that she was turning him on. "You bein ridiculous."
"I promise you I do not give a fuck."
Chris stared at her longingly with a blank look on his face, before he decided to lay down.
"I hope your ass is leavin tomorrow," he mumbled, turning his light off.
Kyrie laid down turning away from him. "I bet I'm not," she closed her eyes, yanking the covers over her shoulder. "Big headed ass.. thinks he's slick."
"Dramatic ass girl. She'll be aight tomorrow."
Almost instantly, they both fell asleep.
