Chapter 1
Standing out on the small pillar all he can see is the rolling green hills and Logstedshire. He is gonna do it. He is gonna jump. Finally end it all and be free from everything. Away from Dream, away from Tubbo, from Techno, from L'manburg.
Atleast, that was the original plan.
He grabs the basics, an iron sword, a stone ax, some carrots, a stack of oak logs and one bucket of water and puts them all in his inventory. He runs to a clearing not far from logstedshire, near the obsidian portal. He knows if he can make it convincing he could be free. If he can pull this off, he can run and start over, begin a new life where he can live without fear, without being scared, without having his stuff constantly being blown up. All he has to do is keep building up.
He builds up to a definitely a life threatening height and grabs out his bucket of water, hands shaking and closes his striking blue eyes, "Deep breathes, Deep breathes.." He speaks to himself. He opens his eyes and looks down at his dirty and bloody hands. "Well big man, now or never." He jumps off the cliff and positions his water bucket, ready to pour the water. He's rapidly approaching the earth, focusing on placing the water correctly. He dumps the water just in time, nailing the jump.
He stares down at the ground, "Ha.. Ha......"
He did it
"I did it!" he yells to himself overcome with joy, "Haha! Stupid bitch ass gravity doesn't have shit on me!" He starts to cry with laughter.
"Ha... ha... " he starts to calm down, 'now, time to go.'
He scoops back up the water and scatters some of his old things, mostly broken, on the ground to it even more like he hit the ground and dissipated on impact.
'Time to go!' he thinks to himself. He looks up towards the sun, it's almost sunset.
'Towards the sun is nowhere, only forests as far as the eye can see... away from the sun is L'manburg.. I need to get away. Towards the sun is my safest bet.'

Running. Stopping. Resting. Scavenging. Repeat.
'Just a few more miles', he tells himself. 'Just one more mile. Come on, get up!' He snaps his eyes open. The first thing he notices is the cold, it's so cold he can see his breath. "How far have I gone?" The surroundings were unfamiliar and foreign to him. He can only see green brush and the dirt he was laying on. He looks down on himself for a morning self check, he sees his dirty rags for clothes, along with many bruises and scrapes littering his body and some goose bumps along his body. The temperature he has noticed is quite lower in this area compared to Logstedshire. Nothing new from the night's rest at least. He hasn't really looked at himself too closely ever since he has been exiled. Too many things have happened to really take in what he looks like. Dream wouldn't let him do anything that he wanted or needed to do. I need to keep moving. He slowly picks himself up off the hard ground. He doesn't remember laying down or even arriving in the sparse forest. He must have passed out again. "Wouldn't be the first time you lost consciousness." He thinks to himself.
It's been weeks. Maybe even months. Tommy hasn't stopped moving since the day he ran away. He only stopped to sleep and even then it was for only a few hours at a time with the long periods of time between each sleep period. He has to stop and scavenge for berries for food now. His few bread pieces he's been rationing ran out days ago. Catching or hunting food has proved to be nearly impossible and he didn't want to risk going into villages to steal or beg for food in case someone from L'manburg was there. It was a risk he was unwilling to take. People recognizing him could mean death. Or worse if he runs into Dream. But, he isnt dumb. He knows his food options are extremely limited and that the weather is getting cold around the area he is in. He will need food and some more clothes if he wants to keep going.
He looks up through the trees. The sun is about at its highest point. He looks towards where the sun would rise and starts walking. The forest has trees spread out pretty evenly, about fifteen feet between each tree if he had to guess, with small plants on the ground covering everything. He can see almost to the edge to the forest, "Thank fucking Prime" he thinks in a very tired sigh, The trees are a decent size, spruce trees exactly. He reaches the edge of the forest and doesn't quite come out, there's a decent sized village in the distance. He can see the smoke of a few campfires, or chimney smoke, he isn't quite sure, and some large buildings. Even farther in the distance he can see mountains.
He sits and stares at the distant village, unsure if he should go to the village or around it. "If I go in, someone from L'manburg could be there. If I go past I might not past by a village again in a long time, after all, theres a fucking mountain right THERE!" If I go in, maybe I can trade food or even clothes for work. If I go around I might not make it very long if the weather keeps getting colder, If I dont starve by then. There's only so many berries in the area. His stomach growls particularly loud at that thought, If I go in, maybe I can get hired by someone and live in their shed on a nice bed of old potato sacks and rags! Tommy looked down at himself and looked over his appearance, "maybe someone will pity me.. No, fuck their pity." He decides to just camp up for the night in some thick undergrowth close against a tree and sleeps against it lying down since he doesn't trust himself to not fall out of a tree again.
Tommy wakes up in the middle of the night. He doesn't know why, the only noise he hears is the tree branches swaying in the breeze. Then, he hears it, a whistling sound. He sits up and grabs a nearby stick, just in case, his heart is about to beat out of his chest. Fuck whats a stick gonna do. The whistle turns into a pur just when he sees it, a pair of glowing green eyes staring at him. His eyes widen and he catches his scream in his throat, it jumps closer and he realizes... a raccoon?!
"What" he curiously asks the raccoon, his heartbeat dropping rapidly and vision becomes fuzzy for a moment. The creature just stares back at him with a blank look.
"Uh.. hey buddy, I don't have any food if thats what you're after." Tommy says sitting up fully, eyeing the raccoon. He notices that it isn't very big, maybe not full grown, and pretty skinny like himself. The raccoon then creeps closer and starts inspecting him, smelling his foot first.
"Ey, shoo!" Tommy tells them, tucking himself closer together. The raccoon sneaks closer and grabs Tommy's arm to balance himself on while sniffing him some more. Tommy just curls in on himself and lets the raccoon do its thing, hoping it would run off after checking out the new creature hiding in the bushes. It then gets bold and jumps into his lap.
"Hey buddy I don't think you know this but I am not some sleeping mat for you to cuddle up on and shit." Tommy says when the raccoon promptly sits in his lap. It makes a purring noise and rests their head on
"Fine but this doesn't make us friends" Tommy said reluctantly and rests his head back against the tree not wanting to move too much in case the raccoon changes its mind and attacks him instead. Tommy drifts off with the sound of purring right next to him.
