Tommy POV:
My body shifted above fluffy clouds I somehow found myself. I haven't been this comfortable in weeks. It's hard to get a good night's sleep when your shit is being blown up constantly. I didn't want to wake up, but the low voice of a woman kept bringing me back to the real world.
What made you bring this human here, Antfrost? And why is he in such poor condition?"
Are they referring to me? Bitch I'm not in poor condition, maybe a little rough on the outside but I'm like new.
"I haven't a clue. I found him on top of a tower. Looked like he was about to jump."
I sat my body up, the blankets underneath shifted with my weight. The room was fairly small. Boxes littered the place. Other than a dresser and a few bookshelves, there wasn't a whole lot of personality.
Wow, this room is boring. It could use a poster or two of Queen Lizzie.
I lift myself off of the bed and step towards the door. Pushing my ear against its surface as the two had gone quiet. A knock echoed on the door, sending a shiver down my spine.
I hurry away from the door. I can't trust these people, got to hide!
I push my frail body in between the bookshelf. I was able to fit in the tiniest of spaces thanks to food being often scarce in exile when Dream wasn't around. The door jerked forward. There in the doorframe was the same young lady from early that day.
She held a tray of what seemed to be food and a bottle of water in her hands. My lips quivered at the sight of drinkable water, my throat was as dry as a bone. My stomach rumbled at the thought of food.
"Morning Kiddo. I brought you some homemade French toast." She placed the tray on a nearby bedside table. My mouth watered at the sight of food. The toast was covered in syrup and strawberries.
"Isn't that a breakfast thing?" I asked. The last time I checked it was close to midday.
"Oh yes. It has been a few days since you passed out."
"Did you kidnap me? What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
She waved her arms in front of herself. "No! I um—Ant brought you here."
"Who?" I questioned.
"He is the cat you followed. He is a hybrid," she explained. It makes sense given that others like Ranboo and Techno are hybrids. "Wait you two didn't exchange names when you travelled here?"
I shook my head to answer her question. It didn't even come to my attention to ask the cat for his name. I really just followed a stranger to his home...
"Anyways I'll leave you to eat. There are some clean clothes in the dresser. They're also a shower down the hallway."
I nodded, not wanting to talk. I look at the plate of food.
It looks so good! But what if it is poisoned?
My stomach growled at the promise of food. It had been neglected most of the time when I was in exile.
