Interlude 2 - Dream's Hunt [Read me]

A/N: Interlude are canon to the story so read them. They hold information about the past and present that don't include Tommy or [Name] POV.

Dream POV:

Snow crunch underneath my feet as I carry my weight in the snowy biome.

Where the fuck did Tommy go? I almost had him under my control.

A dark wooden house came into view. My pace picked up.

I should've known he would go to his big brother's home. It's not in the greater Dream SMP and obviously Techno his family.

I held out my hand to know on the door, but I quickly pause and pushed open the door. Since I and Techno are on good terms, seeing as I and Punz saved him from getting an Anvil to drop on him, he shouldn't have a problem with me walking in uninvited.

After looking through Techno's whole house Tommy is nowhere to be found.

"He probably out with Techno..."

"Heh."

I turn to see the very pig I was looking for. He got a bag overflowing with gold in one hand and a netherite pickaxe in the other.

"What are you doing in my house," he asked.

"Just looking for something you stole for me!"

"And that would be..."

"Tommy."

"You don't own Tommy. He's his own person."

Not really. He was just another pawn on my chess board. My favourite pawn to be exact.

"Whatever that doesn't matter.  He's supposed to be in exile and he's not there."

"And you think I hid him from you. Hate to break it to you but I hadn't seen him since L'manburg got blown up."

Fuck. It doesn't seem like he's lying but then where is Tommy. I checked the Greater dream SMP he wasn't there and he doesn't have any other friends other than me where the fuck is this child?

"Okay well, you can go now." He said annoyed.

"No. I need you to help me find him." I stood my ground.

"Are you calling in your favour?"

"What no."

"Then get out homeless blob."

Techno held open the door. The cold snow blew in, making me regret coming all this way.

"Okay. I'll go. But do you got any information about him?" I was begging at this point.

"Nope. Although I met someone I have never seen a few weeks ago. Does [Name] rings any bells?"

My heart shot up. What... how does he know about her? I thought I was careful... shit. No one should know she exists except for me.

"Nope. Why? Did she say something?" I lied.

"She called me the Blade. Which is something Tommy called me. I bet she might know where he is. Now go."

He pushes me lightly out of his house and closes the door. I left Techno in peace and headed in the direction of [Name]'s home.
