20th chapter

It's 4:30pm the next day,you just walked in the office building with Tom,after spending the whole day out,from one meeting to another.

Y/n:i'll go check on Gracie,I haven't heard from her since yesterday
T:okay im going to haz

You walk to the reception,looking for Gracie but she's nowhere to be found.
Y/n:hey Liam,did you see Gracie?
L:I was going to ask you that, she didn't show up to work this morning.
Y/n:why didn't you call her?
L:I did,multiple times, but she didn't answer
Y/n:that's weird,I'll try and call her
You take your phone out,and try to call her, but she didn't answer
Y/n:she's not answering me too
L:I hope she's okay

You start panicking,thinking if something happened to her,you run to the elevator and start pressing the button,but it's occupied. You run to the stairs and run to haz's office and open the door without knocking.
T:y/n?what's wrong? And why you're out of breath?
Y/n:i just ran up the stairs
H:why?
Y/n:have you heard from Gracie?
H:no I didn't
T:she's not here?
Y/n:no Liam said she didn't show up this morning
H:I'm gonna call her
Y/n:i tried, Liam also tried. She didn't respond
T:that's weird
Y/n:what if something happened to her?
H:I'm sure she's okay
T:yeah,maybe she's just trying to rest
Y/n:if so, she would've answered my call
T:maybe she's asleep
Y/n:yeah maybe
T:okay now relax
You try to take deep breath,and calm down
Y/n:noo, im sure something is wrong. I'm going to her place
T:alright, im taking you
H:wait,im coming with you

The three of you walked out of the building and into Tom's car. Haz's in the front while you're sitting in the back. Haz sneaks a look at you from the rear view mirror
H:relax y/n, I'm sure she's fine
Y/n:don't tell me to relax haz, please don't
H:ok, I get it, you're mad at me and all and I understand that
Y/n:im not mad, im disappointed. That's different
H:but you have to put yourself in my place, it all new to me , this pregnancy caught me off guard...
Y/n:you're talking like Gracie is used to it. This pregnancy was also a total surprise for her. And it is bad enough that she lives alone here, far from her family. But also the father is a complete coward and shows no help
H:look I'm really trying..
Y/n:oh you are? How many weeks is she? When is her next doctor appointment? Who is her gynecologist?
*haz stays in complete silent with his head down*
Y/n:talk to me when you know the answers to this questions

You finally arrive to her building, you step out of the car and run to the second floor and start banging on her appartement door
Y/n:GRACIE! Open the door please
*You hear Tom and haz arrives behind you*
Y/n:she's not answering
T:maybe she's in the bathroom
*you bang again*
Y/n:GRACIE IM GONNA BREAK YOUR DOOR IF YOU DONT OPEN IT
*you hear the sound of the keys clanking before the door opens and you're meeting with a crying, you walk towards her and pull her into a tight hug*
Y/n:you're fine,you're fine

*you pull from her and try to wipe her tears away. You take her hand and pull her with you to the sofa and sit down. Tom and haz follow behind. You walk to the kitchen and get her a glass of water, which she drinks all. After a few minutes of deep breaths she finally calm down*

Y/n:honey are you better now?
G:yeah...thank you
*you smile at her,and she looks around *
G:what are you guys doing here anyway?
Y/n:we were worried about you, you didn't came to work and you didn't answer any of my calls
G:ohh, im sorry I didn't mean to freak you out
Y/n:Gracie,what happened?
G:what are you talking about,nothing happened
Y/n:sweetheart you know you can't lie to me, now tell me what happened?
G:ahh...I called my family today and told them
Y/n:well what did they say?
G:they said that I'm not their daughter anymore and they don't want to hear from me anymore. And they'll never accept my baby
Y/n:WHAT?
T:calm down y/n
Y/n:calm down? What kind of parents disowned their daughter just because she's pregnant?
G:mr.holland is right y/n. Besides I already saw that coming. My parents are a bit strict, I had to convince them for months just to let me come here and finish my studies.

G:I know. I just had some hope that they does. I guess I was just dreaming
*you pull her to you and hug her*
Y/n:ohh sweetheart, you don't deserve any of this
G:thank you y/n
*you pull away the standup*
Y/n:ok that's it come on,let's go
G:what?
Y/n:your coming with me

G:y/n, we talked about this already
Y/n:we did, but now everything is different. There is no way I'm leaving you alone anymore, so you're coming to live with me
H:no she's not

H:can you leave us alone please?

*you look at Gracie and she nods,you walk up to haz and whisper*
Y/n:please don't screw it, she's already broken
H:I won't, I promise
Y/n:im trusting you, don't let me down
*you walk to Gracie and hug her one last time*
Y/n:please call me
G:I will don't worry

You walk with Tom to his car as he starts driving you to your place. After few minutes of silence you decide to talk
Y/n:you're turning into my personal driver
*Tom let out a little laugh*where is Ben?
T:his wife gave birth,so I gave him a break to spend it with his family
Y/n:that's nice..... He's not going to screw it up, won't he?
T:who?
Y/n:haz
T:he promised you y/n
Y/n:i know, but im still unsure
T:he's not going to make her sad, especially after what happened to her today,trust me. Stop worrying so much
Y/n:well I can't help it
T:yeah I gathered that
Y/n:anyways, thanks for the ride again.

T:wait, do you have the hard disk where the new designs are?
Y/n:yeah, it's in my place. I can go and get it
T:that would be great
*you step out of the car then turn to Tom*
Y/n:you're welcome to come up
T:okay,sure
*he kill off the engine then join you outside and you both walk upstairs and into your appartement*
Y/n:uhh make yourself comfortable I'm gonna look for it
T:okay

TOM'S POV:
As she walks to her bedroom I sit down on the sofa in her livingroom. She has quit a big appartement for an assistant though. Suddenly I hear the doorbell rings
Y/n:can you get that please?
T:yeah of course
I open the door,to find Aaron in front of me, he seemed shocked to see me
A:ohh..mr holland
T:Aaron
A:i didn't expect to find you here
T:well I needed something...work related
A:yeah of course
T:so how do you know where she lives?
A:she texted me her address
T:did she?
*in that moment, y/n walks in*
Y/n:who is it...Aaron,hey how are you?
A:im good,how about you?
Y/n:im great. What are you doing here?

I walked out of her door and to my car. I was kinda furious about her date with that model. I sat in my car for awhile looking at her apartment's windows. After calming down I went home
