30th chapter

It was a very very long day of working, running to all directions. Starting from organizing the mess that was made when you left, to help haz sort out the budget. All you wanted was to go home and take a long bath then sleep. But you knew that this day is far from being over. You knock on Tom's door and went in when he gave you the permission to do so.
Y/n:mr.holland,what do you want for dinner?
T:y/n? You're still here?i thought you left
Y/n:I can't leave we have tons of work to do
T:that's true but you don't have to stay
Y/n:i work in this company too,so if everyone is still here working I'm still here. Now would you please tell me what do you want for dinner?
T:you're going to buy me dinner?
Y/n:no,im going to buy us dinner. I took all of the employees orders and I'm gonna give it to Ben so he can buy them. You're the only one that remains
T:alright,I want the shrimp Alfredo pasta. He'll know from where he'll buy it
Y/n:alright. I'm gonna give him the list
T:wait, here's the credit card
Y/n:no,this is on me. My treat
T:damn,I should've ordered more things

T:I'm kidding. That's all I want. Thank you y/n
Y/n:of course

Ben got back with your food a little later. You took your order and Tom's and walked in his office. You took the pencil of his hand and placed the food in front of him
Y/n:ok,little break. It's food time
T:I can eat and draw at the same time
Y/n:i know. But you need a little break
T:I can't have a break. I have a lot of things to do
Y/n:mr.holland,you've been working all day you didn't even notice that I wasn't in my office all day long
T:you weren't?
Y/n:no, i was helping Harrison with the budget
Then helped Louis with the models
T:I didn't notice that
Y/n:that's my point. Now let's eat
T:ok fine
You place his food in front of him then sit down opposite of him and start eating
T:are all employees still here?
Y/n:not all of them, the designers are here and few others
T:they shouldn't be here at this time
Y/n:neither should you. I tried to make them go but they said that they won't until they're finished. I was lucky enough to send haz home
T:yeah, he can't leave Gracie alone. So how's the budget?
Y/n:we're far from figuring it out
T:oh man. This is a disaster
Y/n:we'll figure it out, don't lose hope till last minute

Tom nods and smiles at you, you smile back then your phone starts ringing.
Y/n:hey Aaron...no i can't, im still at work.. well you know how the situation is here....no of course I'm not going he asked me to meet him at night in his studio for a nude photo shoot... well I don't trust him... I don't know, I may stay here all night...ok bye.

I hang up and look at Tom who looks.. disturbed
Y/n:everything okay?
T:yeah..you and Aaron,still seeing eachother?
Y/n:umm yeah
T:are you..you know,a couple?
Y/n:no,no. We're still getting to know eachother
T:huh,good. I mean it's good to take your time to know eachother well
Y/n:yeah...well I'm gonna head to my office. Call me if you need anything
T:okay,sure

I walk to my office and start working immediately. I was concentrated that I lost track of the time, until I heard a knock on my door.
Y/n:come in
A:hey gorgeous
Y/n:Aaron? What are you doing here?
A:I missed you. And since you couldn't get out of Work, I came to you
Y/n:ohh, that's a...surprise
A:I know. So how you doing?
Y/n:good,im just busy
A:don't you think it's a lot to work until 9pm?
Y/n:im not the only one here. Half of the company is still working
A:so what? It's your first day back and you're already staying extra hours. What will happen next?
Y/n:no,this is a temporary thing. We're just trying to get everything done for the winter collection show
A:this is ridiculous. He should work, not you. You weren't the one that messed it up. And he accused you of doing it. I still don't understand why you came back here.
Y/n:look Aaron, mr.holland told me to go home hours ago but it was my choice to stay and work because I care about this company and the employees. And he done enough to make me get back here
A:you could've been a superstar instead of working here with this bossy manipulative guy
Y/n:okay, that's enough Aaron

Suddenly the door was open, I stand up immediately
Y/n:how can i help you mr.holland?
T:Aaron, what are you doing here?
A:I just came here to pay y/n a visit. I missed her
I saw Tom clenching his jaw
T:really? You know it's not allowed to get visitors at work Aaron. So if you will, you can see her when she's not working
A:when? When she's not working until 9pm?
Y/n:Aaron...
A:okay, im leaving* he walks to you and kiss you cheek* call me when you're out. Bye sexy

I nod at him and he leaves. I look at Tom who's still clenching his jaw. He looks at me fuming.
Y/n:why did you do that?
T:what do you mean?
Y/n:it's allowed to have visitors at work, so why did you do that?
T:it's my company I can do what I want. If I want him out of here, he'll be out of here
Y/n:why are you acting like this? You're angry and acting like...jealous
T:me?jealous of him? Please
Y/n:then why did you do it?
T:I just don't like that guy
Y/n:why not?
T:I have my reasons okay. I don't like him and I don't want to see him around me. In fact, I think you shouldn't see him either
Y/n:excuse me? Now you're telling me who I should and shouldn't see?
T:you deserve better than him y/n. He's a jerk and a playboy . He'll break your heart
Y/n:ohh sweet lovely naïve y/n,  every guy in this world will play with her feelings. Gets what he wants and throw her away like garbage when he's done with her, is that right?
T:that's not what I said y/n, you're sweet and lovely, but you're not naïve, and you're not garbage. You're way better than him. You can see whoever you want, just be careful, I don't want to see you get hurt. I know what's like and you won't like it. And I'm not saying that because I'm your boss, I'm saying this because I care about you.

He reaches my hand then kiss my forehead. He turns then leave my office. Leaving me frozen, totally speechless about what happened right know. Is that mr.holland?
