[PRESENT DAY
THE AMAZON]

Morning came quickly and the married couple were the first people up. Zella wrapped her arms around Druig's torso as they laid together in bed, the sunrise shining onto them through the window curtains. The brunette dug her face into the crook of her husbands neck, sighing deeply. The man glided his fingers over the skin of his wife as they savored the moment.

Zella and Druig soon got out of their bed to wake the rest of the Eternals up. The brunette woman went over to an extra room that she and Druig lent to Thena. Zella knocked on the door lightly and waited for Thena to respond. The door knob turned, the door opening to reveal Thena.

"You ready?" Zella asked her sister. The blonde nodded before walking out of the room, and closing the door behind her. "Lets go," Thena said, sighing deeply.

The two walked out of the building and towards the beach, Thena holding Gilgamesh's ashes. The brunette slowly closes her eyes, imagining some flowers then blowing ice onto the palm of her hands. She handed them over to Thena, closing her eyes once again and imagining Gilgamesh's gauntlet before blowing ice onto her palms.

Thena gave Zella a small smile as she stared at the beautiful design. Zella removed her jacket, tossing it out onto the sand before following Thena into the water as she held the flowers and ashes. Zella held some real flowers in her hands along with the ice gauntlet she made, not noticing Druig and Sersi standing by talking to one another.

"When I left, I thought about taking over the minds of every human on this planet." Druig said as he stared at his wife as she placed the flowers in the water. "Violence, fear, greed, all gone."

"Why didn't you?" Sersi asked him. Druig looked at Sersi until looking back at his wife. "The day I felt so done with everything that humans craved in themselves — Zella stopped me. She gave me a whole speech about how I should let them go, let them live their life because they have their own extraordinary flaws. And she said "because without their flaws...they wouldn't be human." I remind myself to tell myself that everyday." the man tells the woman. Sersi looks between Zella and Druig, realizing that their love was powerful.

"Please, Druig. You can't stay here anymore. These Deviants are trying to keep us from killing their own kind. They have a concession now. That makes them more dangerous." Sersi said.

"No, Sersi. That makes them us." Druig corrected. "Eternals and Deviants. Arishem's children. But you are asking me to take control of a mind of a Celestial. I do not have that kind of power." Druig added on.

"We'll need Phastos," Sersi told him. "Well, good luck. He gave up on humans a long time ago and you'll need Zella with you in order to convince him." Druig told the woman before turning his head to look at his wife, watching as Thena poured Gilgamesh's ashes into the water, Zella gently putting his ice gauntlet down near them.
