The Three Stooges Go on Patrol

Nat 

Life is good. 

I've started hanging out with Jiro more, school has been good, and I finally started my work study. I also got the chance to finally get a little closer to Midoriya since he decided to take his work study at Nighteye Agency too. To be honest, I wasn't sure he was going to make the cut, but he somehow managed to pull it off. 

We started talking more, and he even let me take a look at his notebook. I was amazed at how observant he was and how much he wrote about each of our quirks. One of the pages stood out to me in particular though. 

"Is that...Did you draw a heart next to Serena's name?" I asked. 

"WHAT? NO? What's a heart? I don't even know what you're talking about hahahaha."

He snatched the notebook out of my hand and closed it quickly. 

"Uh huh...sure." 

His face was bright red. I tried to stifle a laugh, but I couldn't help myself. He's such a dork, but honestly? I think those two would actually make a cute couple. 

"Hey you two. Watcha doin'?"

"NOTHING. I mean...noting what's up, you?" shouted Midoriya. 

"Uh...right. So anyways it's time to patrol if you guys are ready." 

Mirio Togata. One of the Big Three, and another one of my fellow interns. We had started getting closer too when the three of us would go out on patrols. He gave me a funny look. I just shrugged.

"Alright let's go," I said. But as we started walking, I made sure to turn around and mouth "I'll tell you later."

Things started off pretty normal. There really wasn't much trouble on the streets, and it was a beautiful day. 

I tried to whisper what I had seen earlier to Mirio but I must say, subtlety is not his strong suit. 

 "OH MY GOSH! Izuku do you have a crush?" 

"Shhhhhhh! Don't-" 

"Awwww isn't she that angel girl from your class? Gee Izuku, she's pretty!"

Midoriya turned bright red and started stammering like a lunatic. (More than usual). I had to reach out and stop him from walking into oncoming traffic. 

"Careful dumbass." 

"Sorry I-I just. You guys...you can't tell anyone." 

"Don't worry we wo- wait...so you admit it?" 

"I mean what? Psshhh noooo. Um-" 

"It's ok dude. I could kind of tell. You look at her with googly eyes all the time." 

"Yeah," said Mirio, "Kind of like the way Nat looks at Jiro!" 

"Yeah I- wait what??" I turned suddenly and bumped into a line of bikes. They all toppled like dominoes. I used my power to quickly stand them back up. 

"Yeah! Like after your date the other day." 

Now I was blushing. 

"Is it that obvious? I mean, she is really great." 

"Um...kind of," said Midoriya. 

Mirio swooped in and put his arms around our shoulders. 

"Aww my little lovebirds and their cute little crushes. You guys look so funny when you blush like WOA--" 

He didn't even finish his sentence. In the process of walking, we somehow drifted off toward a street lamp, which he promptly walked into...face-first. Midoriya and I burst out laughing as he sat on the ground and rubbed his forehead, which was now as red as our blushing faces. 

"Yeah, maybe I deserved that." 

"Maybe just a little," I said, helping him back up. 

We kept walking and laughing. Everything was normal until a little girl came running out from an alleyway, latching herself to Midoriya's leg and unbeknownst to us, to our lives.
