Chapter 3: No day like today

Y/N's Point of View

I woke up like normal as I heard my dad shout from downstairs.  I was curious on what nickname he would use today.  I got up and got dressed and ready.  Today is picture day!  I wanted to wear my F/H (Favorite hoodie) with some jeans, but my dad insisted on me wearing something dressy.  So I did that.  I wore D/O (Dressy outfit (of your choice))  I ran downstairs as I soon got my answer from earlier "Good morning Y/N Bee". He the whispered under his breath "No that doesn't work". I finally gave in and told him a kind of nickname I liked "Dad Just call me N/N (Nickname)". He then smiled "N/N?  I like it!". I chuckle as I grab my bookbag and wave bye to my dad.  I wonder how Milo's doing? 

Milo's Point of View

I stood at the bus stop with Melissa and Zack who were having a little argument about if She would be able to do a handstand for 10 minutes.  I just stood and watched, I was kinda intrigued.  Then I see Y/N coming towards us.  I wave at them with a smile "Y/N!  Over here!". They then started running to us. "Hey Milo!  Who are these two?"  They said in confusion.  I reply with a tiny nervous chuckle "that's Melissa and Zack!  My two other best friends." 

Y/N turns to them and tries to listen to what they are saying but by the looks on their face, they can't tell a single word.  "Their talking about Melissa doing a handstand for 10 minutes" I say helping them understand.  They then make their way into the conversation without Melissa and Zack taking any notice!  My mind gets the best of me 'Golly they look cute whenever they try to argue' I shake the thoughts out of my mind as Melissa and Zack finally notice that there's one more person in their conversation.

"Milo?  Who's this?"  Said Zack as he was pointing at Y/N.  "That's Y/N! They just moved here Yesterday!"  They introduce themselves as the bus comes rolling through.  'No Murphy's law yet huh?'  on the bus I sit down as I just sit there.  My mind set on Y/N. 'Dang it mind!  Stop thinking about them!'  then we get to the school.

Y/N's Point of View

I arrived at my first class as the announcements were calling out the grades going up all until they got to 7th grade.  We all made our way to the Library to get our pictures taken.  Milo was behind me in the line.  We talk when we finally get to the camera.  Amanda was controlling the camera so I wave at her and smile.  Yesterday Amanda showed me around the school, so we're friends now.  "Hi Y/N, Go ahead and smile for the camera!"  I smile as the camera clicks and I move to let Milo get in front of the Camera.  But Murphy's law kicked in.  After a while we got back to Amanda only for Milo's picture to be a yeti.

"Maybe next year Milo"  I said to him.  "Yeah maybe" Milo said With a Chuckle.  I couldn't help but feel a little happy being with him.  Wait- no I can't feel that way!  Can I?  "See ya Y/N!"  Milo said.  I stop him quickly and speak "You can just call me N/N"  he looked at me and then smiled "I like it!"  I started walking home waving bye to Milo and I just couldn't stop smiling.  Was I really crazy to like danger himself?
