"Why didn't you just tell me?" I asked her looking down at the floor because I couldn't tell look at her face
"Because I make bad choices" Lidia sighed and pushed her hair behind her ear
"And I was worried about your reaction" Lidia explained
"Why? I like Malcom" I asked her confused
"I know you do but...after everything that went down with Christan and what I went through with him...I know you been pretty protective of me" Lidia said
"Oh so we graduated from clingy to protective" I said coldly looking at my hands
"I'm sorry I called you clingy" Lidia apologize with a deep sigh
"Well I did act pretty clingy" I said giving out a weak laugh
"I'm sorry too, I should've just listened to you and gave you your space" I apologized and put my hands on my face
"Well I could've been more honest; I didn't have to say Malcom but I could've told you I was seeing somebody" Lidia said
"Yeah" I agreed
Even though I knew that I still would've freaked out; I would find out everything about the guy; Look through his social media, see who he follows, and see who his family members were and who they follow.
We sat in silence for a while, Not awkward silence but more like we didn't know what else to say.
"I think you and Malcom will be really great together" Malcom smiled
"Thank you" Lidia smiled and hugged me and I hugged her back
"Wanna meet Penny and eat breakfast together?" I suggested as we pulled away from each other
"Yeah, Know where they went?" Lidia asked
"I have an idea" I smiled as we walked out and I held Lidia's hand as we walked up to Rufus favorite dinner Cannon Cafe
