By morning, the boat had arrived back in America. The kids came out of their cabin and onto the deck to look out and see their city.

"Ah, home" David sighed.

"At last" Cynthia also sighed, standing next to David.

"That sure was quick" Brock commented on their incredibly short adventure.

"Hmm..." The gang then noticed Ann seeming distracted, as something felt off to her.

"You okay there, Ann" Teeders asked her.

"Oh, I'm fine" She replied. "I just feel like there's someone else here with us"

"Who, the kooky man dressed in yellow?" Frizzle asked, reffering to Ted.

"No" Ann shook her head. "I mean the..."

"Monkey!" Molly pointed out. "I see the monkey!"

The kids could not believe it as they rubbed their eyes, having to do a double take. Sure enough, there was the monkey running along the deck with Ted's hat before looking out to see the city. The monkey was in awe. It looked like a big jungle playground for him. In a shiny, concrete sort of way.

"How on earth did he get here?!" David wondered.

"He must've stowed away on the ship when we weren't looking" Teeders realized.

"Awesome!" Brock beamed.

"No, not awesome" Teeders told him. "The city isn't exactly the safest place for a monkey"

"Ohh" Ann frowned, being worried now for the monkey's safety when the gang then spotted Ted.

He was getting in a taxi, planning to go home and explain everything to Mr. Bloomsberry. The monkey too had spotted Ted and smiled before going after him.

Kali turned to her friends. "Well we can't just let him go off alone. Come on, we gotta catch up to him!"

The rest of the Akids, plus Molly and Frizzle all nodded in agreement, following after the monkey. Cynthia however remained behind for a second, having a suspicion while Kali went past her smiling innocently.

Cynthia then yelled. "Kali Harpercop, you knew that monkey was going to follow us back here!"

The Akids ran into town, searching high and low for the monkey in the busy streets.

"Oh, I don't like this" Ann frowned in worry. "Having the monkey here, he could get hurt"

"Oh, where could he be?" Molly wondered while looking around with Frizzle.

While the gang continued their search they started noticing all these advertisements about the Zagawa shrine. One particular one made David stop in his tracks and gasp.

"Wait, what does that say?" He asked while the rest of the Akids came over.

Teeders read the poster. "Come see the Lost Shrine of Zagawa, now at the Bloomsberry museum. It's gigantic!"

"Oh, that's not right at all!" Cynthia said.

"The shrine is 40 feet tall!?" Brock eyes widened.

"How did that happen?!" Ann said.

"Word spreads quickly on the internet" Kali told them while looking at another add. This was an interesting one. It was a billboard poster of Ted with the shrine saying, "I FOUND IT! COME SEE IT!".

"THERE HE IS!" Frizzle suddenly pointed out.

Everyone spun around looking out into the streets, quickly spotting the monkey chasing after Ted's hat after it had blown away in the wind.
