Living in a peaceful world, humanity didn't thought about of the upcoming destruction they might faced with the possibility of an unknown being with power might appeared.
But everything changed when mysterious monster and dungeon appeared on earth.
It was 50 years ago when dungeon and mysterious monster suddenly started appearing on earth which resulted of the great war between humankind and the mysterious monster.
At first, people started being pushed back by the monster because of the mysterious power they hold but for some unknown reason people with supernatural power began to born amongst the humanity.
People started calling them ASCENDER a being who holds power greater than the normal humans, breaking through the limit of humanity's capabilities they were symbolized power and hope for all the human beings.
The war stood at a standstill for over a five decades. There was clearly no winning side. The mysterious monster were superior to humans in nearly every way. But even with all their advantages, they could not win the war. This was due to their lack of special abilities that humans possessed, which did not only allow them to use an ability but also boost their body strength as well.
Because of this, humanity eventually regain their control over the world once again but almost 50% of humanity's population has been perished.
However, neither side was able to gain ground on one another. the mysterious monster and the dungeon didn't totally disappeared.
This event left a big impact on humanity. Humankind lost nearly 50% of humanity's population during the war with the mysterious monster. They fully understood that this peace treaty was only temporary and the war will eventually start again.
As a result people became focused on military strength more than ever before.
This event gradually unified all the humans into one new military force in order to prepare for the inevitable second war with the mysterious monster.
A new era was then created. One's social standing completely depended on one's strength. Those with weak abilities were discriminated against and were forced into working in the worst way of jobs. They were dispensable and insignificant in the eyes of the people and government.
A new society of the strong ruling the weak was born. Children were taught how to fight in schools from the age of 6. This was in order to well train the next generations in preparation for the impending war. Also, upon reaching 15 years of age, all children were forced to attend 3 years of military school.
Military school was the place that would decide one's future. It was a ruthless place that will determine who will become great and who will become a trash. Where dreams can come true and where dreams can be crushed.
Among them, a boy named Zander Stratos a 15-year-old talentless boy, was now on his way packing his bags, preparing to go to a military school.
