William stepped back and took a fighting stance in front of the machine. Then, he punched the machine with such a momentum with immense strength that it caused shock waves all around the entire school making a tremendous loud sound of impact.

*Boom!*

Aside from that the number on the machine started rising at terrifying rate.

1,100... 5,070... 12,000... 20,000... 34,500... 40,690... 50,001...

150,000...

Until the number finally stopped at 150,000 points. The students were all dumbfounded and speechless as they stared at their examiner in admiration. And unexpectedly most of them thought a word suiting his strength 'As expected from the Sword Emperor' they thought.

"Well, dang it! I thought it was going to be higher, but I guess I'm getting older now as my hand mistakenly slipped a bit. I'm sorry, my dear students." William said with a smile while rubbing the back of his head.

At that point, the student's jaws dropped even further than before as they had a hard time believing what they had just heard.

"Well anyway, this is the second and final test. The speed and reaction test. Just stand here for a few moments and then a three-dimensional, virtually rounded couples of balls will shoot at you with increasing speed with each passing ball it shoot. Your goal is to last as long as possible without being touched by the ball. I won't be showing a demonstration for this test because we are already wasted so many time. Are there any questions before we start?"

The group just stared back in silence.

"I see.... By your silence, I assume you're all ready to go. When I call your name, please come up here and take your exam."

After that, the exam went by really quickly. Some aspirants had really interesting abilities that Zander had never seen before. So far, 8 students had taken their exams. 1 got F rank, 4 got E rank, 2 got D rank, and 1 got C rank.

Andra Cadman the C rank student, was especially strong. She had a long pure black hair tied up into a ponytail that went down to her waist. She wore an expensive-looking black paired dress with a long black cape that covered her back with a long rapier weapon in her waist.

From her actions, she seemed like a talented proud warrior with righteousness as her standpoint of view. She was really beautiful compared to most girls, which even further boosted her self-confidence.

You could infer just from her appearance that she was exiled in both range and close-quarters combat.

In fact, only a few famous families in the world had inherited such a talent for both physical and elemental abilities.

Of course, each ability differs slightly from one another, having their unique styles, and properties. Each family holds an enormous influence and power in society.

The Cadman family is one of the well-known families that inherited this kind of fighting style with their main elements and aptitude, dark magic.

Out of all the elemental abilities, dark magic was one of the strongest and least common due to it being rarely find in someone's quality of talent in different aptitude of elements.

Still Andra being classified as a C rank in the starting examination was no small feat. She got 2500 points on the power measuring machine, and lasted 8 minutes on the speed and reaction test. This gave her a power level of 2500.
