You and Serpico sat in silence. You were scared to even speak for he were clearly mad.. he wouldn't even look your way.
He let out a sigh after a while.
"You must promise me you will never put your life at risk again for my sake"
You crossed your arms defensively after hearing him say that.
"Yeah right.." you mumbled. He looked over at you and you tensed up just seeing the look in his eyes.
"Before you went to fight in my place, do you remember what it is you told me?" you asked.
He remembered and fell quiet.
You hesitated but pushed yourself to say it. It felt almost childish.
"I love you too. So you can't blame me for wanting to defend the person I care for"
You brought your knees up to your chest and went back to being quiet. You felt a little flustered after saying such a thing to him.
He stared at you in silence.
He seemingly decided to leave it.
You had both made your stubborn points.

After a couple hours Serpico noticed the others return safely. He ran over with relief upon seeing his sister alive.
You slowly trailed behind only to get startled upon seeing the state Guts were in.
Your eyes widened but when he glanced your way your eyes diverted.
He noticed something must've happened between you and Serpico from the distant behaviours. He saw it all the time back when he and Casca used to fight.
Isidro ran up to you and started re-enacting a fight he had with a boss troll. You smirked as he told you all about it and you patted his head proudly.
"You finally mastered the fire elementals"
"I don't know if I'd say that.." Puck commented.
"Yeah, unlike someone and her water elementals!" Isidro poked fun and you swatted him away.
"Maybe she can use you for target practice later" Guts chimed in making Shierke giggle at the thought of you going after Isidro.
Serpico glanced at you and then Guts.
The villagers soon surrounded Schierke with the genuine praise she deserved from the start. She really were capable.
Once everyone said their goodbyes to the villagers Isidro proudly lead the way with some new blade Morgan gifted him.
Casca followed curious of the shiny new metal he kept waving around.
Lady Farnese and Serpico walked on ahead as you trailed behind.
You were a little saddened to walk alone.
