"I wonder what we're gonna have tonight," Tom says and I shrug my shoulders, "I'm not sure, We'll see when we get there." I say, "man, I hope mum is making those pumpkin fritters," I add on making him laugh, him squeezing my thigh lightly. "I love those, it's her specialty," he says.

Tom and I are in the car, on our way to the family dinner. We had to leave a bit early since Nikki wanted Ari and I to help her cook. The Osterfield's and Holland's are completely glued to each other, which means that if there's is a family dinner, they're there too. It's like one big happy family, when I first Tom's family, I was a bit anxious. It was good to have my best friend on my side.

While I was in my thoughts, we already arrived at the Holland house. Tom and I don't live too far from here. I love their home, it's in such a cozy and loving neighborhood. This was obviously all new to me since I come from New York where all the people are snobby, where there's not a single nice person in society.

"Paddy's gonna steal you away from me now," Tom frowns and I laugh, "if not, the twins will." I say, "are you even coming home with me?" Tom jokes making me laugh even harder. I love the little things like these, these types of talks and laughs.

I knock on the door, it soon being opened. Paddy stands in the doorway grinning at me. "Sage!" he squeals, running to me and hugging me, basically hugging my legs since he's so short. "hey buddy," I say kneeling to face him, placing a kiss on his soft forehead. He grins widely, "I missed you!" he says and I giggle, "you saw me last week."

"Hello, I'm Tom, your eldest brother. I don't think we've met before." he jokes, making Paddy turn his head. He rolls his eyes before going up to Tom and hugging him. "hey little man, how's school?" Tom asks, messing up his hair. "good! My teacher gave me a lolly for getting full marks on my test today!" he says and Tom gasps, giving him a high five. "That's my little brother, well-done Pads." He says and I smile at them being so adorable.

I walk into the Holland house, first greeted by Nikki. "hey sweetie!" she says, wiping her hands with a cloth. "hi Mum." I say, she pulls me into a hug, kissing my cheek. "Come! Come! Ariana is already here, let's start cooking.

I walk into the kitchen, seeing Ari. "hey bitch," I say pushing her arm lightly, "I hate you, you don't deserve a greeting from me." she pushes me away, I laugh and hug her from the back, "you love me." I comment and she smiles.

I happily eat my food, Tom's hand resting on my thigh under the table. "How's work everyone?" Dom asks, "going good, same as usual," Haz answers for all of us, I nod in agreement. "Boys, when are you putting a ring on these wonderful lady's fingers?" Phil randomly questions, making Haz choke on his wine. Ari looks a bit disappointed in his reaction, I get why she would. The frown on her face is clearly visible.

"Phil!" Nikki gasps and I smile. "You guys are crazy," Charlotte adds on, making the twins laugh. "You want Sage to be my sister-in-law?! Never in my whole entire life." Harry says making me gasp. "I'm heartbroken now Harry, you're paying for my therapy." I joke, holding my chest. Everyone laughs at my joke, I laugh along too. I'm quite curious on why Tom never said anything on the topic, that was pretty weird.

Tom is in the backyard talking to Dad about the business. Ari and I are washing the dishes in the kitchen while Charlotte sits with us. "Any boys Char?" Ari asks making her gag, "the boys in the senior year are disgusting. I need to go to a new town for a boyfriend." She answers making both Ari and I giggle.

"Hey, how do you guys feel about the whole marriage conversation thing?" Charlotte says, making us turn our heads to look at her. I look over to Ari, her expression nearly dropping immediately. "I don't know," Ari says and I frown. "Ari talk to us," I say and she nods slowly. "Why would he have such a reaction? Does he not want to marry me? Am I a bad girlfriend?" She blurts out making me shocked.

"Ari, how could you say that? You are amazing. I'm pretty sure he was just shocked at the question, it was pretty sudden. Maybe he has something planned for you? Let's not think anything bad about this." I say and she relaxes her shoulders a bit, "you're right, you're right." she calms down.

"My brother is an absolute div, don't worry about him," Charlotte says making us laugh. I love her, she's like the little sister I never had. Scarlett was never there for me, although we were close, I despise her now. I didn't deserve what she did to me.

The night carried on, I had a great time, which I always do. I love this family.
