"IM NOT A BABYSITTER, FURY." TONY DENIED FROWNING AT THE MAN IN FRONT OF HIM. Fury's forehead was creased eyes boring into him in a way that would make anyone else look away in discomfort.

"That utter arsehole." Bruce practically growled. Dick turned to him perplexed.

"Seriously what is your issue with him?"

"We went to college together." He gritted out petulantly. A pettiness in his tone that made his children raise their brows.

"You have two boys of your own Stark." He reminded the man unwavering despite the glare he received.

"Don't talk about them." Tony barked taking a step forward, anger forming in his stomach the moment the man mentioned his sons. "Look it's a hard situation, I get that. But I won't put my sons at risk for an assassin. Child or not."

Thomas let out a sigh. It was a hard situation for all involved. On one hand he felt angry at the man, his niece had a hard life all she needed was the opportunity to be better. On the others he understood the man's worry. At the end of the day she was a killer.

"She won't hurt them." Fury dismissed. Tony felt himself get angrier at the man's indifference letting out a bitter scoff before he could stop himself. "What is she does? What if she snaps one day?" He asked rhetorically.

Fury sighed frustrated pinching the bridge of his nose. He didn't answer looking at the man in frustration. "How do you know?" Tony snarled finally snapping at the man's disregarding nature. "How do you know I won't wake up one day and find that thing! Ripping my son's entrails out to string them up from the roof!"

"She wouldn't." John defended fiercely, Finn nodding along in agreement.

"She won't." Fury said sternly. "She's a child Tony. A child."

"Yeah a child who has been raised to do nothing but kill!" Tony yelled fiercely driven by fear. He knew he was being unfair, but he was fed up of the world actively fighting against him. He wouldn't allow his sons to be dragged into this. "How on earth could you possibly know-"

"Natasha gave me her word." Fury booms the words silencing the man into confusion.

"Natasha?" Tony asked confused but anger still in his voice, his whole body tense. "What does she have to do with this?"

"I'm sensing history here." Micheal murmured with a grin.

"She's Natasha sister." Fury admitted reluctantly watching him closely. Tony was silent eyes wide his brows drawing together in disbelief.

"She's a child Tony. Only fifteen. I won't lie to you she's killed she's killed a lot but she's a kid. She needs stability, you're my only option." He looked away from the man and at the window watching the girl. A look in his eyes Tony couldn't place.
