A smile tugs playfully at her pale lips. Her small, free wisps of hair dance gracefully in the spring breeze, contrasting against the robin's egg sky.
Her cobalt eyes focus on the rolling clouds. She's never thought of cotton candy when looking at them. She's almost always thought of spiderwebs, and has not the slightest idea why.She finds herself calming down, the cloud rushing past overhead. A loud shout of greeting makes her head turn, and her smile grows softly.
A young boy runs over, his dark brown hair having the same lovely contrast against the sky. He begins to talk to her, and she looks at him in confusion, her nose wrinkling. Why was he talking to her? Couldn't he see she was busy watching out for someone?
