Author's pov:

It was the day for Vetri's family arrival. The whole house was decorated with flower festoons. The servants were busily cleaning the house and decorating the table between the sofas. The maids were busily preparing delicious snacks and lunch for the guest. Govind and Geeta were running here and there giving orders to the servants. Seema was getting ready by the makeup artists while on the other side,there were two souls snuggling to each other and sleeping soundly. Shiva woke up to the knock on his door. He made Yashmi lie on the bed and kept to pillows beside her. He stretched his arms and opened his door to see his mom looking beautiful wearing pink pattu saree with minimum makeup and ornaments. He sleepily smiled at his mom and said:

Shiva: Azhaga irukinga ma...Enga poringa?

Geeta: Dei,inniki un thangachi-ya ponnu paaka varanga da!!!

Shiva's mind popped up that he actually forgot it. He immediately went to take shower while Geeta shook her head in disbelief. She went to Yashmi patted her cheeks. Yashmi woke up and Geeta reminded the same thing to which Yashmi grabbed her clothes and ran to Geeta's room to get ready.

Shiva got ready(Cover photo) and went downstairs since he didn't see Yashmi. He looked at the whole house which was decorated. But then he noticed his wife coming downstairs drapped in a simple saree(Cover photo) with one neck piece,earrings and her hands with bangles. Her free hair flowing in the air. The kumkum on her hair partition and the nuptial chain with the small baby bump made the look complete. He went to her with a smile and helped her walk slowly. But suddenly,they heard horn sound. Geeta ran to the entrance saying:

Geeta: Maapla veetla irundhu vandhutanga pola......

All rushed to see a woman from her 40's and a man from his 45's climbing down the car as another young guy coming behind them. It was Lakshmi,Subbu and Vetri. Behind them their relatives came with thaamboolam in their hands. Our family gave a warm welcome to them and let them in. The guests were asked to sit on the sofa but they denied and sat on the floor. The men sat on the sofa. Yashmi too sat on the floor beside Geeta and normal enquiries were done. Snacks were served to the guests. Lakshmi said:

Lakshmi: Romba sandhosham!! Neenga engala madhichi inga kooptadhula.....

Geeta smiled at them.

Subbu: Seri, ponna kootitu vandha paakalam la?

Govind: Ahn.....Yashmi,Seema-va kootitu vaa ma.....

Shiva: Pa,avalalaye nadaka mudila....Avaluku vela kodukuringa..... Preethi akka,avala kootitu vaanga.....

All chuckled at Shiva while Yashmi glared him. Yashmi gave a tight smile at everyone and left to Seema's room with Preethi making Shiva huff. Yashmi entered the hall with Seema who was looking gorgeous in the golden saree. She was shining and when Vetri noticed her,his heart started to thump hard. He was mesmerized. Yashmi made Seema sit beside Lakshmi and she stood beside Shiva. She slightly pinched his arms without anyone's notice to which Shiva rubbed his arm giving out a squeal. No one heard him as they were busy in talking with the bride.
