Jen left early well cause she had to rush home to do something. She decided not to share with me. I was screwed up well because I had no ride home. I mentally cursed myself, if only I had learnt how to drive, this would not have happened.
Mom won't be off work until 7:30pm. And I can't just sit around. I decided to walk home.
Curse my unlucky soul, it started raining right when I was two blocks away from school
"Bummer, I'm fucked" I thought out loud. The rain grew stronger and I had no where to take cover. I began jogging down the street in search of some form of shade.
My clothes were wet and stuck onto my body like glue, my hair covered my face. As I was trying not to slip and fall a mad driver nearly run me over making me fall eventually. The driver parked right in front of me making no passage way.
The door to the shotgun of the car opened. I became scared.

"Get in"the voice said
"Ummm hell no, who the hell are you to tell me that, you nearly killed me and I can't even see your face"
"Shut the fuck up and get in the goddamn car or stay in the rain and get your ass wipped, as you can see you are the only one on the streets. Your choice."
"Shit, okay fine"
"Good"
"Thank you"
"Yeah whatever get in"
"Hold on who are you?"
"Uhhhhhhh Jason?"
"Oh great"
"You coming or what, I ain't got all night"
I sat in the shotgun of the car with Jason driving like a mad man.
"Ummm Jason?, Please slow down"
"Oh yeah sorry"
The drive was quiet and tormenting due to the kind of tension that filled the air
"Thank you again." I said when he dropped me to my house.
"You live just a few blocks away from me and I never knew"
"Yeah well, I don't go out much"
"Okay. And one more thing kina tell a soul I gave you a ride today, and your life will never be easy for you"
"Ummm and is that supposed to scare me"
"It should if only you knew who I really am". His icy tone made me flinch. Never seen him like that or heard him speak like that before. He meant whatever he said and I wasn't gonna go contrary to that.
"I promise, I won't tell a soul"
"Not even Jen?"
"Not even Jen, I promise."
"Goodnight miss Kina"
"Whatever get out my drive way"
"See you in school tomorrow kina"
