LOVING THE BADASS

Chapter 5

Jason's POV
We started hanging out a lot, sometimes at mine or hers. I was seeing an improvement in my math as well. We are currently heading to the ice cream parlor. I had told Janice that I wasn't into her anymore and would only be playing and hurting her if we kept that thing between us going.
After my breakup shit, we decided to grab some ice cream to cheer me up. We ordered our favourites and started eating. We sat there for a few minutes in a very comfortable silence with her looking out of the plain window to the streets and me looking at her. Betty was fast asleep way before we decided to leave for the house.
"I will be attending be attending a friend's party, want you to come with me'
I said while we tucked Netty in bed.
'Sure thing, why not?'
"Would you like me to pick me up?' I added.
' no don't worry just text me with the address of the place, I will make my way there with Jenny.'
"Okay sure kitten. Good 🌃 night"

Kina's POv

It was Thursday and Jenny and I decided to go to the mall to pick up a dress for the long awaited party Jason had invited me to. I picked a black dress with matching leather boots and a leather belt. Jenny picked a very hot pink short dress. FYI my dress was short too. She picked a high heel to match with it.
We headed for the house and decided to have a sleepover at my place. Mom had gone on a business trip o to the very first time in my life, I skipped two classes both on Thursday and Friday. I told her I was going out with Jenny and it was my very first house party. I remember her words right before the line was cut off
'Be good Missy and don't try anything stupid with any of the guys around okay?'. I just love my mom. Jenny did my makeup and curled my hair.
"You look hot girl, Jason is so gonna fall in love with you".
She said admiring her handiwork.
"Yeah yeah whatever shut up and get 👗 dressed so we can leave, wanna come back home early"
          ~Kina.
"Chill out girl"
          ~Jenny.
We located the address Jason had sent me and made our arrival at around 6:30 pm. I was welcomed by a bunch of smoking teenagers and others seriously making out like their entire stupid lives depended on that shitty make out session. I couldn't find Jason and his phone was out of reach. So it meant I had to make him out of all these stupid teenagers myself.
"Kiki, the girl in that corner is hot"
           ~Jenny
She beamed.

'Go get her girl' . I replied. Jenny is into girls. So if you have her as your friend you don't ever have to think of that bestie stealing your boyfriend 😎😎 kinda drama shit. You know??. She told her parents about it, turns out they were cool with it. Happy for her are you???. So am I 
Well, i was left standing alone until I bumped into kain, he kinda in his own way apologized about his jerky attitude towards me and offered some kind of friendship thing of which I had no choice but to agree to cause I needed someone's company at that precise moment.
He invited me over to where his group of people were and that is where turns out Janice and Jason were also at. I saw Janice on Jason's laps, and it was as if she wanted to fully enter Jason and their souls and body be one. The sight was disturbing to me and I wondered why I was the only one bothered by it. It was a new kind of feeling to me and I did not know how to manage or control it either.
I had grown to like Jason within these few days we were hanging out. He pretended not to see me but I could feel his gaze on me whenever I was not looking.
After playing a few rounds of truth or dare, never have I ever, and a whole lot of other silly games like spin the bottle of which I ended up kissing a whole lot of people involved in the game and also seven minutes in heaven. It was during that game that I realized that Jason and Janice were no where to be found.
The party was beginning to suck for me since the person who invited me over has been ignoring me the whole time I got there..
I decided to look for Jenny so we can head home. I climbed up the stirs and opened a few doors to some rooms of which was abandoned and empty. I made my way to the last room on that floor. I opened the door only to see Jason making out with Janice.
The feeling came back and this time it burned, it burned so bad. It was painful and torturous.
I left slamming the door behind me. I heard Jason call out my name but I was too consumed by pain to even recognize his call. The party was getting erratic downstairs and steamy, I manage to brush pass a bunch of high, drunk and horny teenagers and made my way out of the house into the backyard.
I couldn't hold it in. I couldn't stop the years so I allowed it stream down and flow. A hand pulled me out of nowhere and I hit a very hard rock solid yet firm chest. I was not myself to recognise that it was the person who made me tearful.
"Let me explain kina"
      ~Jason
"No let me go, you don't have to explain anything to me, it's none of my business.
       ~Kina
He pulled me even closer to him. I tried to get myself out of his grasp but it was to no avail. Putting a finger under my chin, he tipped my head up so I was facing him well enough. He leaned in closer his breath fanning my face. He leaned in even more.
He was trying to get to me. But I would not be a fool anymore.
"Leave me alone Jason, please"
"No I can't kina. Listen to me I was only making out with Janice because she threatened me, she knows something no body knows and until I get it, I have to play along and agree to everything she says"
"Yeah right, total bull, now please leave me alone".
With that said I freed my self of his grip and made my way out if the backyard to leave the party.
"Kina wait!"
"Jason......"
He smashed his lips onto mine as soon as I turned to speak. His lips were just as I imagined, they were soft. I stilled for a moment not knowing how to react to the 😘😘 kiss. I gave in when he moved his hand to my waist and squeezed me lightly. Our lips moulded and moved in sync, our bodies attached to each other's perfectly. Swiping his tongue on my bottom lip, I gasped and that is when his 👅 tongue entered my mouth, we titled our heads in the opposite direction of each other to deepen the kiss. A small groan erupted from his throat and that is when reality hit me. The whole make out session with Janice came playing back to me.
I pushed him away and the shocked expression on his face told me he was not expecting that.
"You don't get to kiss me with the same lips you used to kiss Janice. No Jason, no. Just give me some space".
"Okay I will but please lemme take you home at least my mind will be at rest"
"Sure thanks"
He took my hand in his and we passed through the crowd again but this time the party was dying out. We headed for his car, completely forgetting about Jenny. The only thing being on my mind was the make out with Janice, to the confrontation to the kiss. The kiss was amazing and it set me on 🔥 fire but I can't be fooled not by him or anybody else. I deserve the space I need from him and he has to respect my decision. It won't be easy but I have to. I need to cause somewhere deep deep I knew I was starting to feel somethings for this guy I need to control or it was going to get the best of me.
