You were walking home with your friend, Touka.

You both worked at a coffee shop, doing late shifts for more money.

"Hey Touka, I packed some sandwiches! Want some?" You held out a nicely cut triangle for her. She grinned. "Ah...I'm on a diet right now." She shrugged.

"Ok! I just don't want you to be hungry." You blushed out of embarrassment. She laughed as you two kept walking, talking about how school sucked.

5 minutes into the walk, she stopped. She sniffed the air.

"What's wrong?" You looked behind her. She was sweating as she smelled it.

"N-nothing. It's getting dark though, so you should hurry home. Ghoul attacks have happened here." Her tone changed immediately.

"Oh...ok! Get home fast!" You called out, sprinting to your home.

Suddenly, Touka heard a noise coming from behind her.

"That took you a long time. Who's your cute friend?"

"What do you want?" She slowly turned around. "Oh, it's the half ghoul." She rolled her eyes. Slowly, she threw a package in the air.

"F-fuck... I've been starving!" A pair of kagunes grabbed the package. It ripped it open.

"Be grateful. Also no one is here." Touka crossed her arms.

Suddenly, a ghoul with white hair emerged off a building. He licked his lips as he bit into the human flesh in the package.

"Is this going to satisfy my hunger?" He ripped the package in millions of pieces. "Think of it as a midnight snack." Touka laughed. "The rest you'll have to kill for yourself, good luck."

Kaneki angrily grunted as she disappeared to her house. He was still hungry. He wanted tender, soft skin. Not leathery, old skin.

Then it came to him.

"Touka! Where were you last night! I was so worried." You hugged her. She laughed. "I went down the wrong street! And it was so dark!" She fake screamed. You two were walking home after a long shift. Apparently your boss was mad that you were late so you couldn't talk to each other.

Your stomach growled loudly. "Ow! I wish the convenience store was open..."

"I'll run quickly to the store and we can eat at your house!" She exclaimed.

"How long will it take?"

"5. I'm quick."

"Yay!" You jumped up and down. She told you to get home safely.

You walked home while playing a game on your phone. Touka sent you a photo of sandwiches and asked you which one you wanted. Just as you were about to text her, you felt weird. You looked around you to see nothing, but you had bad vibes. You just walked as you put headphones in and resumed your game.

Finally you reached your house as Touka said she would be there in a few minutes. You shut your phone off and opened the door.

Suddenly, a burning pain came to your shoulders. You clenched it hard and felt that it was wet. You slowly looked up to see a ghoul. One of his eyes were red, the other one being brown. He quickly closed the door with his kagune and pushed you down to the ground.

"HELP!" You screamed, but no one could hear you. Tears went down your face as he started talking.

"I'm sorry, but your friend left me no option." He ripped your sweatshirt off, revealing your bra underneath. "I heard that cute girls taste better."

"Stop it!" You yelled, as he traced his fingers along your skin. "You know, if only she could settle my hunger. But she only gave me leather flesh."

You exhaled, realizing what he had meant.

"Enough with that talk, I just wanted to let you know before you died." He has started laughing and swiftly bit you above your chest. He covered your mouth as he ripped a chunk out of your neck. You couldn't breathe. You were gonna die.

"Mmf...your skin is so tender..." He mumbled, licking all the blood of your neck. You squirmed from underneath him, but he put your hands over your head and held them down.

Worst of all...

you were all alone.

Your friend is a ghoul, and her male friend is going to kill you.

You used up every last bit of strength that you had to force him off of you, which caught him off guard. He flung himself off as you reached for a shard of glass, from your door.

"H-How was it..." You laughed, waiting for your heart to stop any minute. He giggled as he wiped your blood off his chin.

"You interrupted me. Now you'll have to die." He rolled his eyes as you threw multiple shards at him.

He dodged them all, then licked his lips.

"You really do taste good. Should I kill you now and devour everything, or should I continue eating you until you're dead?"

You fell unconscious to the floor, hearing laughter.
