It was a quiet night. Shoto was out late again.

"You are my sunshine..." (k/n) singed quietly. "My only sunshine..."

"You smart boy~. Where did you learn that song (k/n)?" You rubbed his head while he sat on the floor and pouted. He looked at you with his huge eyes.

"Daddy!" He giggled. You couldn't help but nervously laugh as you cut more vegetables for the soup. Such a smart boy for a 3 year old.

His eyes were (e/c), just like yours, however his red hair resembled an awful much of his father. K/n was too adorable for you to think about his dad.

"Daddy singed it to me! Do you like it mommy?" He made a tiny jump, in excitement.

"Of course I do!" You smiled and stared out the window to see Shoto arriving. "Ouch!" You flinched, dropping the knife on the floor.

"Ah! Mommy!" (K/n) yelped. He moved his tiny legs over to you and started seeing what he could do.

"Don't worry (k/n), i just cut my finger. Could you please get me a bandaid? It looks exactly like a carrot." You smiled and pointed to a drawer. He nodded and quickly ran to it. He unwrapped it, ripping the bandaid.

"There!" He smiled and laid it on your palm.

"Thank you~! You will be a very strong hero when you grow up!" You stood him up and wrapped the bandaids around your finger. "Very nice!" You squared and high-fived him.

Just then, you heard whistling.

"Daddy!" (K/n) screamed. He laughed and ran over to him at the door while you sat on the floor, refusing to look at the man in front of you.

Unlike you, K/n didn't know that his father was an abusive, psychotic, evil man, who was the horrible reason he was born. You loved him dearly, but you never wanted to have a child with HIM.

Shoto carefully picked him up. "Today was fun! Mommy said I could be a strong hero!" (K/n) pointed at you. You stood up.

"Is that so?" Shoto grinned at you sinisterly. (K/n) nodded. You gulped loudly as he stared at you.

"Villains, heroes, they're all the same." Shoto rocked him. You looked at the floor.

"But aren't villains bad?" (K/n) slightly whimpered. You stood up and took him out of Shoto's arms, harshly swiping him away from Shoto's touch.

"They have their reasons. A hero gave me this nasty thing." He pointed at his scar. (K/n) shook his head. "So hero's are bad?" He rubbed his eyes.

The room went quiet.

You set him down in his small chair for dinner, then grabbed plates.

"Then there are pure ones like your mother, born with no quirks." Shoto grabbed forks. "Tomorrow you will receive your quirk, yes?" He warmly smiled.

(K/n) excitedly shook the table. "Mhm!!"

Shoto grabbed your waist and made you face your child.

You felt his hands grow hotter.

"Whatever quirk you get, your mother and I will always support you." Shoto looked at you.

"(K/n), use your power well. Now let's eat."

You put your head on Shoto's shoulder. He quietly exclaimed in surprise as you grabbed his hands.

"I-I'm sorry." You weakly mumbled. You felt Shoto's eyes grow. He couldn't believe the words that came out of your mouth. For years he had tried to apologize, with gifts, kisses, and torture. "You mean it?" He mumbled. His hands grew less hot. You giggled right in his ear.

"Would I lie to you?" You quietly spoke, as you wrapped your arms around him.

You couldn't fight him anymore.
