"The golden house is under attack!" You watched in fear as the signal for distress was sent directly to you. "Well, we have to go there and stop it!" Paimon shouted, tugging on Lumine's dress.

"N-no! We can't, it's too dangerous!" You shouted, grabbing an emergency lockdown signal for the whole city. Just then, you felt an arm grab you. "Y/n, would you please calm down? We must fight either way." Ningguang called out to you. You circled around in your heels.

"But this is-"

"No buts! You have been the co-ruler of my foundation, and you are going to fight for everyone." She grabbed the signal gently and calmed you down. "Lady Ningguang...my job isn't to fight..." You looked at the clock. "W-what if I don't win...and get killed?"

"It's never about winning. Your job is to protect Teyvat, including Liyue." She looked at the traveler and pointed to the house.

"You have Traveller with you. I'm not sending you on a death mission." You hesitantly nodded at her wise words, your eyes filling with tears. "I know you'll be great. Go on." She smiled at you, which made you run with traveler to a wind gust.

"Let's hurry and glide our way there. Hurry!" You shouted, gliding directly to the golden house. Lumine remained silent, but you could tell you both were scared.

You used your elemental powers (geo) to open the doors, only to find a bunch of bodies scattered across the floor.

"Look! The millelith!" Paimon gasped, looking at the stacks of gold. "Keep focused you two..." You muttered, while grabbing one of the men's communication system. Just then, you heard a blast from behind you.

"You've already fulfilled your duty, so why do you bother?" You heard a familiar voice calling out to Lumine. You ran quickly to her, as she was also on guard.

"Is that..." Your face went pale as you saw Childe. You recognized him from when Lumine was visiting Ningguang. He had followed her all around.

"I see you brought a friend...I thought I recognized you." He pointed at you. You blocked the exuvia with your powers and stood in front of it. "I knew you were trouble." Your hand was pointed at him.

"Y/n don't! He's our-" Paimon called out, but he burst into laughter.

"OUR what? Our friend?" Lumine looked defensive, while Paimon gasped.

"You used us to get closer to the Exuvia!" She exclaimed, earning an eye roll from him. "It's my job, as one of the eleven fatui harbingers. But now it's time for me to collect its gnosis."

A harbinger? Lumine knew?!

"You won't find it." You hissed at him, who turned his attention to you. "I wasn't asking for your blessing, and thanks to traveller, i already know." He observed your outfit, smirking at your appearance.

"We can do this another way." Traveler stood behind you, as your elemental burst was charging up. Ready to fire at him. His hand went to his waist, where his bow laid. "Let's see your might against a harbinger." He shot thousands of arrows at you, which you barely missed. He was extremely strong.

You pulled out a staff, and came running to him. He loudly cackled, sending shivers down your spine. The arrows were shot at your face, but traveller moved them with her anemo powers. He teleported behind you, and grabbed the staff.

"Shame, I thought that the co-owner of Liyue would've been more...powerful." Those words infuriated you, causing you to face his direction and kick his hand. You got up close to his face and kicked him in the crotch with your heels. He grunted in pain as you took the staff from him. You ran to Lumine who was using her elemental powers.

His grunting turns into angry laughs, as his face transformed. You audibly gasped as his hydro powers were gone, along with his bow. He was wearing a purple mask, and was holding a purple blade.

"An electro delusion." You muttered, preparing yourself for the worst. Everyone in the room could tell that you didn't want to fight Childe. He teleported to you, slicing your arm. He was not only powerful, but fast.

"Agh!" You shouted, blood gushing down your arm.

"Don't you dare back down!" He shouted, as you quickly shielded yourselves. Lumine blasted the floor beneath him, causing the whole floor to come falling down. Paimon yelped as Childe sent shock waves throughout the building, causing extreme pain to Lumine. You both collapsed onto the floor, as you tried to gain more air.

"Ah!!" Paimon shouted, tugging on you. You weakly looked up, only to see Childe approaching you with his sword. You crawled over to Lumine, blocking her. She was knocked unconscious.

"That's about as far as you'll go." He came closer and closer to you, before finally standing directly above your body.

"You're an idiot." You smiled, as he crotched down to you and looked directly in your eyes.

"Oh? And why is that?" His blade dragged against your cheek. "The gnosis." You weakly revealed a cheeky grin, before passing out. Probably from the blood.

"Finally..." He wiped his cheek, which was covered in blood. He teleported to the Exuvia and reached inside of its body, hoping to pull something out of it. The room shook.

"That bitch was right." Childe thought, pulling out nothing but dust. There was no gnosis. There never was. He growled in anger, walking over to your body.

He could only imagine the image of you smirking, looking down at him. It felt so wrong, but he knew he was right.

"This was quite unexpected." He approached your unconscious body in rage. He dagged your body upwards, before scooping you up off the floor. Travelers eyes fluttered open, only to see you be carried up.

"Y/n!!" They screamed, loud enough for Childe to hear.

"Enjoy the show, I'll be taking my prize." He cackled before shooting out the room of the Golden House. Oh no.
