You wiped the dust off of your clean uniform."Haha, good luck y/n. Counseling won't go well with him!" You heard your annoying male coworker named Carter shout.
"Oh yeah? What's he like?" Your voice trembled a bit, as you picked up a neat tray of spicy miso soup, rice, soft tofu, and cucumber salad. In your pocket, was a clinic device, used to scan the patients.
"Oh- my friend had to give him medications, since he lunged at him." Carter chuckled like an idiot, biting into his sandwich.
"Really? He must be misunderstood..." You mumbled, trying to be more optimistic. The chances of a psychopath in a psych ward being "misunderstood" were not high.
"Yeah right y/n. Oh, here." He said, handing you sriracha.
"What's this for?" You groaned, examining the bottle.
"Apparently he loves spicy food. Play it safe." He winked at you, and you rolled your eyes. Carefully, you drizzled a larger amount than you intended to onto the cucumbers. Maybe it was from anxiousness.
You opened the door to the main room, balancing the food on your right palm.
Slowly, you walked down the hallway, checking for the right number.
"164...where's 164..." You mumbled, turning the lights on to the dark hallway. You happily smiled as you saw the number to the room.
You quickly reached in your pocket for the keycard, and opened the door slowly.
~
"Good evening." You said in your kindest voice. Usually, the patients enjoyed your kind presence.
"Goddamn bitch...you scared me. Whaddya want?" He gruffly said, crossing his arms. On his hands were cuffs, restraining him from using his powers. He was sitting by the table, looking at the clinic's latest hero magazine. You were shocked by his angry response, but shook it off.
"I-I brought you your food. Do you mind if I sit in here with you?" You said, holding the door open.
"Not like I have a choice." He angrily grumbled. You opened the door, slamming it behind you.
"Thank you." You tucked piece of hair behind your ear and bent over to put the food on the table. "So, what's your name?" You casually yet politely asked him. You already knew it from the crazy rumors, but you wanted to clarify.
"Bakugo. Katsuki." He said, staring sharply into your eyes. "What'd you put in the food?"
"Oh! I put spicy miso soup, rice, soft tofu, and cucumber salad. I read that you liked spicy foods." You smiled, noticing his reddish eyes. They pierced through your soul with skepticism. You got on your knees and unlocked his cuffs. They fell off, and he smiled.

He felt his face. "Y-yeah of course. Let's try the shitty food today." He said, biting into one of the sriracha covered cucumbers.
His face lit up. He moaned in pain as he hadn't tasted spicy food in so long.
"WATER!! FUCKING WATER!" He cried, as you put your hand on his shoulder and handing him a cold cup of water.
"Ah-! Calm down, it's 10 PM." You found yourself laughing about the situation.
"That's not sriracha!" He loudly screeched, pointing at it.
"I assure you it is. The cucumbers are meant to cool it off." You said, standing up and refilling his water cup. You felt safe around him, regardless of his incredibly mean and loud behavior.
"Uh...miss y/n? Do you like spicy foods?" He said, surprised. His voice was softer, which made you blush. You snapped back and wondered how he knew your name. He made eye contact with your hips, seeing that you name ID fell out.

"Y-Yes. Don't tell anyone, but I really like spicy foods." You joked. He was shocked.
"Maybe you're not as dumb as I thought you were." He bluntly and loudly said. You just blushed out of shock. "So...what's your quirk?"
You playfully smiled. "Why do you want to know?"
"I dunno...you don't look quirkless." He said, setting his food down. You pondered what he meant by that.
"It's like telekinesis, however I have a cooldown for it." You mumbled. He scanned you with his eyes.
"So...did you want to talk about anything? I know it's not easy here." You said.
He didn't answer.

"Bakugo? Are you okay?" You calmly asked him. He was covered in sweat. His face pale.
"Yes...thank you for everything" He slurred, grinning at you.
"You must be full. Here, hold still-" But before you could finish your sentence, or put the cuffs on his hands...
He shot out a blast from his hand. You loudly screamed, as he burnt you in the arm, and destroyed a window. You heard his body land onto the floor, with happy screams.
From outside the window, he threw a crumpled note out of his pocket. You used your quirk to pick it up.
"Y/n...is it? Gosh I love your voice. Sorry about your burnt flesh. Signed, your love, Katsuki."
You looked out the window to see that he had disappeared. "Shit." You mumbled, falling to your knees. More co-workers came in, staring at the "bulletproof" glass.
You turned around, slightly grinning at his note.
"We're gonna need maybe 5 more layers of the glass."
