Chapter 10: Coming Home

Kelly's POV

It was the next day and my pain level never got better. I could hardly move and just wanted out of this hospital.

Will: Hey Kelly how you doing?

Kelly: Not much better still in a lot of pain.

Will: That's to be expected but I have to get you up to CT to see if your brain bleed stopped.

Kelly: Yeah sure.

Stella's POV

Kelly was being wheeled into the CT room. I was very nervous because if his brain bleed didn't go away then he could die. I waited in Kelly's room until he came back.

Stella: Hey babe.

Kelly: Come here you look worried.

I went over to Kelly and he kissed me.

Stella: Well I am worried because you could die if the bleed is not gone.

Kelly: Hey it's going to be okay.

I just shook my head.

Kelly's POV

Will knocked then came into the room.

Will: I have good news. Kelly your brain bleed is gone.

Stella: Yay!

Kelly: So when can I get get discharged?

Stella: Kelly! You need to stay in this bed because if not you would go back to work right away.

I just looked at Stella and Will just laughed.

Will: I would say in a couple of days.

Kelly: Thanks.

Will: No problem.

Will walked out of the room and you could tell that Stella was very happy.

Kelly: Your very excited.

Stella: Well yeah because now you won't die.

Kelly: That is true.

Stella kissed me then laid on my chest. I was still in a lot of pain but I could manage a little. My head was still pounding tho. Stella laid on me the rest of the day and night.

3 days later

Will: I'm going to do one last exam and hopefully you could get discharged.

Kelly: That's good with me.

Will did the exam real quick.

Will: How's your pain level?

Kelly: It's probably a 7 or 8.

Will: Well if you can manage with that pain at home then you can be discharged.

Kelly: I think I can manage.

Will: Before you sign these papers I need to go over some rules. First you have to use your crutches. No weight on your leg until I say so. You may go home tonight and puke a few times. That's normal with a concussion like yours. If your pain gets any worse then you need to come back in.

Kelly: Sounds good to me.

Stella: I'm going to make sure you stay on those crutches.

Will: Alright sounds good to me just sign here.

Me and Stella both signed the papers then I got wheeled outside. Me and Stella got home a few minutes later.

Stella: Here take your crutches because I know you won't want to use them.

Kelly: Yeah yeah yeah.

Stella's POV

Kelly got out of the car but you could tell he was in a lot of pain.

Stella: Your in a lot of pain I can tell.

Kelly: Yeah I am.

I felt bad for Kelly and I hate seeing him like this. I helped him into bed and we cuddled all night. Until at about 12 when I heard Kelly puking.

Stella: Hey babe you okay?

Kelly: Yeah.

Stella: You sure?

Kelly just nodded his head while I was rubbing his back. Kelly was puking for about 5 minutes when he was finally done. We got back into bed to cuddle again.

Stella: I'm sorry I wish you felt better.

Kelly: It's okay.

The rest of the night we cuddled.
