Chapter 30

Addison POV//

It was later on after we had put Blake to bed, and Bryce and I were chilling in our bed watching Euphoria as I fed Aria to sleep. It was only 9pm but we were both so exhausted.

Bryce: when she's finished do you want me to burp her?
Addison: no don't worry babe
Bryce: okay baby

I carried on feeding aria when I heard cries coming from Blake's room, she never woke up in the night anymore so I was very confused.

Addison: shit
Bryce: I got it
Addison: okay

Bryce went through to Blake's room and I could hear her still crying whilst Bryce was trying to calm her down.

Blake: MOMMY!!!! •choking on sobs•

I couldn't let her yell my name like that and me just ignore her, so I got up still nursing Aria and went through to her room.

Addison: Blake what's wrong?
Blake: mommy!! •cries•

I go to the side of her bed.

Addison: Blake I'm right here, what's the matter?
Blake: no baby sissy, just mommy
Addison: well I'm afraid that's not possible as I have to feed your sister right now
Bryce: daddy can lay with you till you fall back asleep...how does that sound?
Blake: nooooo daddy momma bed
Addison: okay Blake come lay in our bed

Bryce looked at me as if I was insane but my plan was to let her lie with us until she fell back asleep and then bryce or I can carry her back to her own bed. I told this to Bryce and he nodded to show he now understood.

Bryce POV//

All 4 of us were laying in Addison and I's bed, Aria was asleep on Addison's chest and Blake was half asleep next to me, I could tell she was fighting her sleep but Addison was rubbing her hair to help her relax. Addison and I continued to watch Euphoria for now because it was clear we weren't going to sleep for a while.

A few minutes later I could hear soft snores coming from Blake which let me knew she was asleep.

Bryce: •whispers• I'm going to take her through to bed now

Addison nods as I ever so carefully pick Blake up and gently place her back into her bed leaving a kiss on her head. When I finally though we had both kids asleep, we didn't. I heard Aria crying from our bedroom, I walked quickly into the bedroom to see Addison trying to calm her down.

Bryce: is she okay?
Addison: yeah I placed her in her crib next to me and she was fine but then she realised nobody was holding her and woke back up
Bryce: shit!

As soon as Addison lays Aria back into her chest the soft cries are silenced as she begins to fall asleep.

Addison: I guess I'm just going to have to get used to sleeping like this. •giggles•

I climbed back into bed and we turned off the show before falling to sleep.

•the next morning•

It was 6:30am and I could hear Blake was awake and playing with her toys, I turned to my right and Addison was asleep with Aria on her chest. Last night was probably one of the worst nights sleep I ever got, Ari woke up every 2-3 hours and Blake woke up again and I had to lay in her skinny toddler bed till she fell back to sleep. I didn't know whether to go and play with Blake or because she was happy leave her until she needed one of us but that would be a bit mean.

Before I had chance to get out of bed the door flung open and there was Blake grinning smugly at the doorway.

Bryce: morning Blakey •yawns•
Blake: daddy!! •runs to his side of the bed•
Bryce: shhhh mommy and baby sister are still sleeping •lifts her onto the bed•
Blake: mommy? •taps Addison's stomach•
Addison: •wakes up slowly and yawns• oh hey Blakey
Bryce: sorry babe I did tell her to leave you
Addison: nah don't worry about it

Addison POV//

It was now a little bit later on and Bryce and me decided we had to get out of the house and at least go for a walk otherwise we are gonna go stir crazy sat inside. I got aria into her stroller and Bryce got Blake's shoes on.

Blake: me no go out, I still sick

Bryce and I laughed at this because Blake had a bit of cough weeks ago and she still brings up as an excuse.

Addison: you haven't coughed in a very long time, I think you'll be ok
Blake: •dramatically fake coughs•
Bryce: •laughs• Blake you can't get out of it that easy
Blake: Hmph

We walk down to a Starbucks since I needed coffee otherwise I could not get through the rest of the day, it was about a 10 minute walk so not too far.

Bryce: what are you ordering babe?
Addison: this momma needs some coffee •laughs•
Bryce: I don't blame you •laughs• Blakey do you want a cake pop?
Blake: yesssss
Addison: are you asking daddy something?
Blake: yess pease

We always reminded Blake on her manners calmly and it was always a gentle reminder, she knew what we meant and would immediately correct herself

Bryce: okay what flavour?
Blake: pinkkkk pease
Bryce: aria do you want some coffee? •jokes around and laughs•
Addison: •giggles• she'll be good with just milk, won't you? •rubs her head•

We got our order and sat and drank/ate it. As we walked out there was Fletcher from Hollywood Fix. We honestly don't mind him as he is very respectful.

Fletcher: hey guys how's it going? Congratulations by the way
Addison: thank you so much!
Fletcher: so do you mind pictures or no??
Bryce: no just as long as you don't get our newborns face in it or it's too flashy
Fletcher: got it! So what have you been up to?
Bryce: a lot, we are very tired •laughs•
Fletcher: I bet, I bet! How old is the new baby?
Addison: she's 3 days old
Fletcher: wow it's brave of you to come out
Addison: •giggles• tell me about it!
Bryce: well fletch we gotta shoot but thanks you for you for being so respectful
Fletcher: thank you guys for answering some questions!
