You wake up to your alarm, which seems to go off as soon as you were in a good dream.
God dammit.
The second I get into something..
You smell bacon all the way from your room, which causes you to spring up from your bed.
You put on slippers and your f/c robe.
"Oh sweeeeiteee!~"
Oh?
The food must be ready..
"Yes mom?" You say.
"Grab a seat, it's French toast and bacon!" M/n (mother name) says. (If you don't have a mom I'm sorry-)
You grab a chair, the wood screeching on the tile floor. You plop down into your seat, still half asleep.
The dream...
It seemed so..
Real..
"Tsk tsk tsk! No sleeping at the table!"
M/n mutters.
M/n grabbed a plate and loaded French toast and bacon into it, as she gently placed it in front you.
"Thanks.." You mutter sleepily.
You start to shove your face with food, after all, this is you first day on the job, you were assigned to security.
There are robots for that!
Whatever. You get money.
You jolt up from your chair, mumbled 'thanks', and dashed to your room to get dressed. You haven't been given a uniform yet, so you just got some decent clothes on, got ready, and flumbed for your keys.
Shit, I'm gonna be late!
You race to the garage door, opened it with too much force, and smacked the 'open' button. "WHAT EVEN IS THE DAMN TIME?!" You scream.
9:36.
You have 24 minutes.
"Whew." You sigh.
You open your car door, and get in.
You start your car, hesitant, but push on.
You begin to drive off.
~time skip~
You find a parking spot.
"Shit- I'm late! -" You mutter to yourself.
You locked your car and race into the building.
"Sorry! Coming through!!" You shout through the crowd.
Holy shit, this place is like a maze!
You look around frantically and see a sign labelled 'EMPLOYEE WARD'
There!
You dash over to the sign and yank open the door.
"So... Y/n..It was... Am I correct? " A blond woman calls to you.
"Y-yes? Who are y-" You start.
"Vannessa. Just call me boss." She states.
"Ook.." You smile awkwardly.
"Now. Listen, I'll explain all you need to know." She said in a stiff glare.
You started to zone out, blocking out her boring speech.
".. That's all. Now repeat it back." She demanded.
"R.. Repeat.. It?" You stutter.
"Yes, dipshit." She sighs.
"Uh... Well.." You said nervously.
"FUCK IT! Just go! Here's your security uniform." She shoves a grey button down in your face.
"Th.. Thanks?" You mutter.
".. Oh. One more thing." She says.
".. Be careful with night shifts of security in the daycare." She warns.
"From.. What..?" You ask.
".. You'll see."
