“ Park Sunghoon ! ”
There he goes again , running along the hallways with his friends while the prefects are having a hard time telling them to stop .
“ Kang Minsoo , move ! ”
The girl whom he had just asked to move , Kang Minsoo , lifts her head up from her test notes before sighing in defeat . She's frustrated over his behavior but obedient at the same time , making way for Sunghoon to run pass her .
Running pass Minsoo , she could hear the students talking shit about Sunghoon . Some were saying that he's a no go , some were saying that he should be expelled by now , some even straight up bad-mouthing him .
She's his classmate , so you can say that she knows him better . He's a troublemaker , sure , but Sunghoon is a top student . He won't get himself expelled unless it's something bad .
“ Minsoo ! You should've done something about him ! ” one of students complained .
“ He's just playing around like how teenagers are supposed to . ” she defends before walking away to catch up with her twin brother , Kang Minhee . The twins walk side by side , adored by the students there .
They're the Kang twins , the model students , the over-achievers , and both are school prefects . The head and the vice .
To be honest , Minsoo was never interested into becoming anything like Minhee . She was forced to . If it wasn't for their parents , she wouldn't even think of being a smart pants.
“ Have you done your homeworks ? ” Minhee asks.
“ Yes , Minhee . ”
“ How about Student Council's report ? ”
“ Done , Minhee . ”
“ Good , now go back to your classroom . Make sure you're no.1 in class for tests this time . ”
Minsoo nods , walking the opposite way to her class while silently crumpling the notes in her hand .
What's wrong with being no.2 ?
What's wrong with being 1 or 2 marks behind ?
Back to the class , Minsoo drowns herself into reading and memorizing for the test while the others play around like how people their age should act like .
She's envious of them , she really does .
Can she just stop for once ?
Can she just rip her books apart for once ?
“ Here . ” Sunghoon hands her a tissue .
“ For what ? ”
“ Your nose is bleeding . ”
It does .
She snatches the tissue away , wiping the blood before anyone could see it .
“ Why are you always there to see this shit happening to me ? ”
“ Because I'm into you ? Or was it because I'm watching over you ? It's both , I guess . ”
“ Sunghoon— ”
Sunghoon hissed , squeezing both her cheeks before giving kissing every part of her face .
Their classmates giggle over the two , making sure that none of their non-classmates could see the two . Some of them even go as far as closing the curtains and doors for them .
“ Hoon , stop ! The others are watching ! ”
“ So what ? They promised to keep our relationship a secret . Besides , I can't even greet my girlfriend at the hallways . ”
The two has been dating for over a year now , behind everyone's back except for their classmates . There are some who were arranged into different classes but never let the secret out .
It was all for the sake of keeping it away from Minhee and her parents . They would go ballistic if they were find out .
“ Can't you just let me be first in class for the test ? Minhee is going to kill me soon if I don't ” she pleads .
“ Minsoo , you actually can . You just chose not to . ”
Smart . Very smart of him .
“ You are a smart creature , my boyfriend . Continue getting no.1 . ”
Sunghoon kisses on top of her head , she really is the apple of his eyes . Always will and always be .
