“ Is that what you despised her for ?! For being a girl ?! It wasn't her fault that you're a bad mother ! All this time , it was you..........” Minhee can't believe it . That was the reason why Minsoo was hated for so long .

“ It was for the two of you ! You two are my priorities ! I should've sent her to the orphanage house when she was still a baby , but no ! Your father wanted to keep that useless girl to keep Minhee accompanied . Now that she's gone , we can start over again . Just us , hmm ? I only have two sons now . ” The three couldn't believe their ears . How can someone be so wicked ?

Jaemin looks at his younger brother with pure concerns and worries . He can't let Minhee stay here anymore , neither does he . No matter how they are going to rely on each other for the next few years , he can't let Minhee be a part of them .

They are the most vicious , wicked , psychopathic parents ever .

Especially their mom .

Looking around the room , Jaemin realised that Minhee's parents never going to change . Minsoo's death means nothing to them , that's why it was quick for them to get over it and replace her .

“ At the funeral , you guys were crying . ” says Sunghoon , who saw the parents cried for Minsoo .

“ That was an act . Don't tell me you believed that ? Who would want to cry over someone who had killed herself ? It was her own fault ! ”

The urge for Minhee to slap his own mother , the urge for Jaemin to drag her to the mud , and the last 20 cents that Sunghoon gives out of respect .

They are running out of patience .

“ I can't stay here , and I won't let Minhee stay either . ” says Jaemin , standing up for him and his brother .

“ Don't be silly , Jaemin . You guys aren't going anywhere . ”

“ Oh , we're going . I'm going to take Minhee with me , and I don't give a single fuck wether you care about it or not . ” Jaemin fires back , dragging both Minhee and Sunghoon out of the room .

They stop by Minhee's room , waiting for him outside to pack his belongings before Jaemin could bring them out of the pits of hell . Jaemin didn't say a word to Sunghoon while waiting , he could see that Sunghoon is clearly angry about the whole situation .

Who wouldn't ?

They all had lost someone important because of a narcissistic bitch and an irresponsible father . Together , they're both are just sociopath parents .

Jaemin's father can't relate .

“ Jaemin ! Jaemin ! You can't do this ! You can't take Minhee away ! ” their mother's scream could be heard even miles away .

She's the only one feeling anxious , while the two felt nothing but trying to find inner peace whenever she's around . If Minhee didn't want to follow him , he would've pulled his hand away from Jaemin's grip just now .

Minhee didn't .

“ Minhee deserves a better life , a life without you and his father . He's too ruined to stay with you , and you're going to make it worse . ”

“ He's not even legal yet ! He can't leave the house without me ! ”

She seems to be too confident .

“ He's not , but I am . I've abandoned them once , I'm not going to repeat the same mistake . ”

Minhee comes out just in time with his backpack and luggage , packing only his important belongings as he can't bring everything with him .

His mother drags him by his arm , trying to make him let his luggage go and stay but like Jaemin had said , Minhee wouldn't be packing his stuffs if he's not going to follow him .

“ No , you're not going anywhere ! Don't be stupid , Kang Minhee ! Do you really want to be like that bitch ?! ”

“ Mom ! ” he yells , eyes flaring in anger .

He's never that type to disrespect or raise his voice for no reason , but his mom has crossed the line . He has been listening to her talking shit about Minsoo from the very beginning , but saying that he would want to end up like Minsoo is too much .

Minhee won't be like her , he can't be like her . Not when Sunghoon needs him , not when he's the only brother Jaemin had left .

Not when he's their only son left .

Minhee is willing to do everything to fix what he had broken in the past , he's going to make it up for Minsoo .

“ I lost my sister . ” That word broke them , Jaemin and Sunghoon .

That word is more than enough to tell them that he cares , every now and then . Sunghoon might be the love of her life , but Minhee is her other half . Close or not , he's still her twin brother . It's not an excuse to forgive his past behaviors , but Minhee had lost himself when she's gone . He can't even look at the mirror anymore , not without imagining Minsoo is no longer by his side .

Imagine having two of you but one day , one of you disappeared and you wake up everyday looking for the same person that won't come back .

“ I've gone through enough , mom . I've lost Minsoo , I can't lose myself . ”

Sunghoon finally had enough of their mom , pulling Minhee closer to him before she could do anything to guilt trip or manipulate him .

“ Let's go , Minhee . ” he says before nodding his head as a signal for Jaemin to start his car .

Minhee's mom pulls Sunghoon by his collars , threatening him with a dreadful gaze . Sunghoon couldn't care less , Minhee is his priority now .

“ Take my son one step out of this house and I'll destroy your life . ”

Sunghoon laughed , brushing her hands off his collars .

“ Do it , I dare you . If you ever lay one hand on Minhee or Jaemin , I'll see you in prison . I have the power to do so , ma'am . Just letting you know . ”

Holding Minhee's hand , Sunghoon guides them out of the house , with Jaemin waiting at the porch in his car . Sunghoon offers to put the luggage in the trunks , letting Minhee gets into the car before him just in case their mom tries to do anything funny .

Giving the house one last look before hopping into the car , Jaemin saw something he had seen earlier .

A familiar figure standing at the balcony of Minsoo's room .
